Movement

Anyone experiencing really irregular/“unpatterned” movements? I am 23+5. Last week baby seemed so active everyday moving and thumping inside. The last couple of days the movement has seemed less - especially through the daytime - and also feels less intense (maybe just moved position or cushioned against something?). I have posterior placenta. Hard not to overthink/panic so wanted to know if anyone else experiencing the same! X

I can’t say the same about posterior placenta because I have anterior placenta and try not to overthink as much but still go to your midwife to check if everything is okay to soothe your mind because you should be feeling movement everyday and eat something sugary and drink something fizzy everytime I do my baby flies around my stomach x

HI Brooke!
I am 23 + 5 also ☺️
He has been moving around none stop this week, the most active i have noticed, I saw my midwife monday and she mentioned if there was any changes to let her know. I wouldn't say that there is a pattern yet, but I think if your worried better to be safe and reach out to them see what they say 💙 x

I was told not to expect a regular pattern of movements until 24 weeks but if that isn’t normal for you I would get checked out.

This is my first pregnancy and what I have been told is, most women start feeling movements 18-20 weeks, but as this is first pregnancy not to worry if it takes as long as 24 weeks. Which was reassuring as I wasn’t sure I had felt something until 21 weeks.

The other thing I have been told is that baby still has a lot of room to shift about so movements may not become regular until 28 weeks and it’s only from then you should start tracking movements.

Hopefully they are just in a position at the moment that you can’t feel them.

This is my second pregnancy. On my first I never really had a pattern just notice more or less activity. It can be normal not having a pattern as well.
I am 20 +5 and had the same the other day super active and now a bit less. Usually until 24 weeks there are no patterns but until 32 weeks the movements should feel stronger and more often.
Always call if you think you are too worried.

Thankyou everyone for your comments. I have done some research online too (not sure thats ever a good idea lol) but that also says similar - that baby has plenty of room to move still and there likely isnt a pattern for movements yet. Baby has definitely moved multiple times in the last hour its just more subtle than I was feeling a few days ago. Will keep a close eye on it as the day progresses and ring maternity unit if I dont feel reassured 😊

2nd pregnancy -mucus plug

For those that aren't first time mums, has your mucus plug gone yet? I'm 37 weeks on Saturday, but my MP went today. I called the 24/7 number line and they advised me that with second pregnancy, labour can come on a lot quicker. Could be days, or even tonight 🙃 the panic is real now! I'm hoping there's some mums here that can reassure me that theirs have gone days/weeks ago 👀🙏🏼

Need help with biblical boys name

I am currently pregnant with my third boy and lost for a name
My current boys are named Samuel and Jesse
I love timeless biblical names (Noah, Benjamin, Joshua) but they seem overused
Any other names with the same vibe as my current boys please 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you so much 💕

Breech baby

Hello all I’m 36 weeks and have been told I have a breech baby. Has anyone managed to successfully get theirs turned around?
I have quite bad reflux too so hanging upside down is not ideal.
Any tips or experiences are welcomed thank you xx
