I have that ball and i’m 5’8. it worked magic for me. Are you supporting yourself while on it? your legs are going to naturally hurt if you’re bouncing and not noticing you are, or if you work out on it. It really depends on what you use it for, and also how is your posture??

Did you get the right sized ball? There are different sized balls based on your height so if you bought too large of a ball that could be part of your problem. I'd just look up video tutorials on how to use an exercise ball in pregnancy. Figure 8s and rocking my hips back and forth were the ones that helped me the most but it's hard to describe how to do them properly without a visual aid.

Posture is very important while on it. Otherwise it's gonna hurt your back
