spotting at 30 weeks

hi ftm here and needing some advice! so im 30 weeks pregnant and for the last 2 days have experienced light spotting that’s a pinkish color. i have also been having some sharp pains but im not sure if its just due to him being more active lately. (which yes hes been moving a lot more) ik spotting is normal it just concerns me a bit that it has happened today and yesterday and i haven’t had any exams or intercourse recently. any advice on if this is normal or i should go get checked out ?

You should reach out to your OB so they can look into it. I’m put on bed rest from heavy bleeding a few weeks ago but I’m 17 weeks so not that far yet.

Please reach out to your provider. Going for an in person visit is never a bad idea. Always better to be cautious.

my obgyn isn’t really the best and am currently in the process of changing providers

Call and see what they say! I had the same at 36 weeks and they weren’t worried about it at all. She came 2 weeks later. Usually if it’s spotting and not heavy bleeding it’s not a big deal, but they’ll ask other questions to be sure

Father’s day

it’s my boyfriend’s first father’s day (our sons 6 weeks old) coming up and i genuinely do not know what to get him. he likes sports and work🤣He doesn’t usually like father day as his own father’s absent however with him now having his own son i want to make it as special as possible for him.
does anyone have any ideas of gifts/ things to do on the day?
thank you thank you 🙈🤍

Successful VBAC Stories?🥰

So I had my first child just over a year ago and had an emergency csection as we both ended up with infections plus other complications. I went through labour for more than 10 hours before having the c section, so I've been through contractions and everything and it was soo painful and uncomfortable, I didnt actually think I'd have the strength to deliver naturally after going through that. Now I'm pregnant with my second and I have no idea as to whether I want to have another c section or try to deliver naturally. I thinking, if I have a planned c section it will be less traumatising compared to the last time as it will be planned and hopefully more peaceful, but I'll have 2 under 2 so I don't really have the time to recover from a c section while being there for my 1st born as much as I want to..

35 week growth scan

Did anyone else have a growth scan at 35 weeks?

I had mine today and baby is weighing 6lbs5ozs. I have GD and on metformin twice a day.

The woman doing the scan asked if there was a plan to induce early and now I’m wondering if they will.

Inductions

Hey I’m hoping to hear positive induction stories, theres so much negativity surrounding the hormone drip and I’m now absolutely shitting myself to get induced tomorrow. If anyones had an unmedicated induction and spontaneous delivery I’d love to hear the differences in pain levels as well, i went unmedicated with my son and whilst it was shit it was definitely manageable but im not sure if i should mentally prepare myself for an epidural this time around. My waters are already bulging apparently so I’ll be going straight to that and won’t need the balloon or propess x

Changing baby to sit up pram attachment

Just took Baby out for a walk in his pram he’s almost 4 months old and goes in his bassinet attachment . He used to love it when he was a newborn. He just fall straight asleep or he would just be content but he’s been screaming his head off any time hes lying down, he just hates being lay down as it is anyway on his back he likes being sat upright so he can see things. I know it’s too early yet, but when can Baby be sat in the sit part of the pram attachment?
