Perineal massages

Hey everyone

Iโ€™m 38+3 weeks and I tried doing perineal massages for a little (one day) and found it so hard to reach and uncomfortable but that was a while ago now.

Iโ€™ve been having baths, raspberry leaf tea, collecting colostrum, having dates, walking, resting and bouncing on my exercise ball.

I am worried not having been doing perineal massages and pelvic floor exercises that Iโ€™m then missing big bits out.

It would be great to know if people found it helped doing them and if thereโ€™s any other tips youโ€™d recommend in the lead up to labour?

i threw up yesterday twice last night, i havenโ€™t gotten my period but i did get some bad cramping. this morning, i wake up and use the bathroom. blood on tissue like the start of my period. anyone else experience this? painful cramps? i never really dealt with bad cramps or vomiting anymore since i was a kid and it seems like after pregnancy, this what iโ€™m experiencing. i did feel better when i woke up this morning and i did take something for the cramps last night. well at 12:48am.

Advice

Iโ€™m currently 35 weeks pregnant

All night so far Iโ€™ve had back pain, pain in my vagina and nausea. Has anyone experienced this before?

Iโ€™ve taken paracetamol and had a bath but back pain is still there. Had some toast and still nauseous.

Best post C-section advice

I have 3 kids now, my first 2 were delivered vaginally but the third was a c-section 1 week ago because he was breach. I'm feeling very lost when it comes to how to care for the incision and things that are normal while healing and things to look out for. I am also wondering if there is any advice on getting around, in and out of bed, sleeping positions, and just general daily life.

Exhausted๐Ÿซฉ

I had my daughter on April 15th of this year. She was born with a few complications and has been in the cicu since she was a day old. Ive been living at the hospital basically with her since then. I wish things were so different for her ๐Ÿ˜• its hard to see her in here everyday.
