I am 30 weeks and had my first yesterday (first that I am aware of). My stomach went hard and felt uncomfortable for about 1:30 - 2 minutes, it eased after I moved. It would be good to hear others experience of it too x

I’m pregnant with my second pregnancy and have regular Braxton hicks. Your belly just goes hard and tense and it’s uncomfortable and then it will relieve. If you start having lots of them in a row then phone the midwife’s other than that don’t worry about them as they are normal, just your uterus practicing for labour ā˜ŗļø

Regular at 32 weeks 3rd babba! One thing il say after being in preterm labour at 28 weeks with my first (which had intervention and now healthy) was Braxton hicks shouldn't come in a wave like sequence and make you breathe through them every time and give you a warm flushed feeling... If they do along with reduced movements or any change to movement pattern your use to then please phone the med unit! Xxx

Im a first time mom and I still have months to go but I like to know what to expect. Any tips to get myself prepared for the whole birthing process or anything to make it ā€œeasierā€?

Baby #2

Okay mamas, please only positive thoughts and energy here…. I just found out I am pregnant with baby number two! I am over the moon excited, hubby and I agreed that to start trying in March when baby was 9 months old. I wanted to start trying so early because I know that it can take awhile sometimes. Of course as excited as I am, I still didn’t expect it to be so soon. I haven’t had my first appointment yet so things are still very early, but I wanted to share the news with immediate family. I can’t keep a secret to save my life lol. Most were very happy but still got some generic responses such as ā€œ your first isn’t a year yetā€ ā€œyou could have waited a little longerā€ and so on. I am having anxiety over my first appointment as it is not with my regular doctor so I’m worried about being shamed :/ I am having some feelings of guilt after getting negative feedback from family. I guess I’m just looking for some positive thoughts and wishes from yall. I believe everything happens for a reason and I am on the right path here but can’t help but be emotional

Thyroid issues!

Hi everyone! Looking to hear your experience with pregnancy alongside thyroid problems, I had my thyroid removed about 20 years ago and take thyroxine, they took my bloods at my booking appointment and she called the other day to say my consultant appointment has been brought forward 4 weeks due to thyroid concerns! Im a wee bit anxious about it if im honest šŸ˜… my levels have never really been managed correctly

Is this a normal progression?

I know I’ve tested a lot but I’ve unfortunately lost a baby before and am super anxious about it
