Induction - cooks balloon

Hey gals!

I’m due in for induction this weekend and I’m terrified. I had an awful induction with my firstborn, he was 42 weeks, lasted 4 days and the 6 pessaries I got over those 4 days done nothing but give me back to back contractions.

This time they’ve said due to how long my first took they want to try the cooks balloon this time..

Can I ask for pain relief ahead of this? I genuinely do not see myself coping with the pain of having this inserted …

Hey gal I got the balloon in February and they offered me gas and air when they were inserting it but it really wasn’t that bad

I've had 2 babies with pessary induction and one using cooks balloon and honestly like night and day!! Cooks balloon is kinda crampy but the more you move/walk about the better it works!

Baby Boy is 2 months!

Oml! It’s already been 2 months since this angel was brought into my life! I love seeing his beautiful smile 🥰 He’s getting so big so fast. He’s finally gaining weight and not having too much reflux! I felt so bad when he had to get his shots yesterday! 🥺 Happy 2 months to my little hungry caterpillar! Mommy loves you so much 💙🥳🎉🥹

Rolling?

I know this has been asked before but I wanted to canvas you all for an update on our babies and rolling now we’re 6 months in. My boy can roll front to back but has no interest in rolling back to front… don’t know if I should be concerned.

Unsuccessful sweep now mucus plug?

Hey I’m 39+2 today and yesterday I went to my midwife to have a sweep preformed to try start me before I go over 40+ weeks (due to stillbirtjh in family after that time) she explained that my cervix was open at the front but closed at the back so she “agitated” it a bit to try get things moving. I have a few cramps since then and have been on my feet walking a lot like she suggested. This morning I woke up and I had my plug (my show) come away so does that mean my cervix could finally be open and labour is near? Thanks in advance ☺️

Contractions

Hi! I’m 37w5d. I started having terrible pressure in my perineum, pelvic pain, and back pain. I'm also having painful contractions—but my water hasn't broken. I'm using an app to monitor my contractions, and it says "Get ready." I have 5-10 minutes to get to the hospital, first time mom.
Is it time to call the hospital or stay home?🙈 I’m very stressed and don’t know what to do.
