6-8 week check

They only really check baby, so depends if you would prefer to wait a little longer for that. Personally I don't think it really makes any difference, they just give baby a once over and ask a few questions, it's not particularly in depth.
You can ask them to check your scar too if you want them to, and 5 weeks is enough time to check it's healing ok.

My 6 week check was ‘what contraception do you want, how’s your mental health, bye’. It’s not very through so doesn’t really matter when you do it tbh
