‘Borderline’ high blood pressure

I’ve been had readings of blood pressure that’s ‘borderline’ high and one or two in which my diastolic was 90 and over since Friday. I’ve been sent to triage today after seeing my own midwife and was seen Monday, baby’s movements all fine, urine fine, no symptoms but they’ve done bloods and sent me home today with plan for my midwife to see me next week to repeat my BP.
I’m 35 + 2, just wondering if anyone else has had this and what they did? I’m just feeling drained due to worrying on and off and don’t know what to do for the best.
Any input is massively appreciated. Thank you ☺️

I’ve not had these issues but can understand your worry! If I was in this position I’d get myself a blood pressure machine for at home and test it myself a few times per day. Not medically trained in any way but feel having some data behind you will either put you at ease, or help you push for further support if it’s needed without waiting. Fingers crossed it’s nothing to worry about x

Hi Abby, I’m also at this same stage in my pregnancy and experienced the same thing last week. My BP was high and was sent to triage, they gave me some meds but it didn’t go down so they admitted me. My urine and bloods were fine. I’m now going in twice a week for checks. You’re doing the right thing - hope you feel better soon!

Hello, my entire pregnancy I've been getting like 163/116 as my first bp when my community midwife does it, it usually comes down to 133/85 or lower by the 2nd or 3rd go but if it stays high I end up in triage only for it to go low there and sent home.
I have been worried about preeclampsia as my mother had it with me but as I have no other symptoms they seem to say it's white coat syndrome or just faulty equipment, as of today I'm 37 weeks and triage asked me to start monitoring at home every few days.

I wouldn't want to tell you not to worry but due to my own personal experience as long as you are aware of what symptoms to look out for and are happy with baby's movements then you should be okay

I HAVE A DATE!!! 🤭🤭🤫

Finally after 3 weeks of back and forward, arguing and complaints I can finally say I know when my boys will be born and my god is it a relief!

The person I asked today literally replied with ‘wait for a call’ but I said enough is enough I want a date now as I’m 36 weeks and they have to be born by 38 even if it’s just an updated provisional. Then A 2 minute call later and I have an official date (not saying as don’t want to jinx it) but ladies if you’re waiting on a date don’t let them piss you about !

Getting worried

Does anybody else get worried having a toddler at home and something might happen with your pregnancy? My mum usually helps out a lot but is currently on holiday and my husband works shifts and I’m so nervous and anxious about what if something happens and I need to go to hospital and I have no one to look after or pick my son up from pre school.

Body changes

Hi! I'm a stay at home mom of one almost 2 year old. I feel more pain than I ever did pre pregnancy (ribs, chest, upper back, shoulders, lower back, legs, arms, lol) and I wonder how much of it is related to picking her up on and off all day, putting her in and our of carseat/crib, etc. It is usually mild and comes and goes, but still worries me sometimes. She is a big girl, tall (35 inches), about 30 pounds. Do any other moms experience this??? I have health anxiety so feeling more pain always amps up my anxiety. 😥
