Early riser

My child’s always been an early riser. He was doing 6am wake ups for a while but the last two months it’s been 530am consistently, today 520am. He wakes up happy babbling ready to play and hungry for milk. Do I just accept this is how it’ll be now? Or has anyone managed to move this out?

My little ones been doing between 5-6 for months. Was 5:10 this morning 🤣
My 3 year old wakes at a similar time so the days are long.

My 14m old wakes up 5:10~ he’s not crying, so i push it as much as i can that’s closer to 6am. We start the day at 5:50~.

I’ve found putting to bed later helps as they only sleep a certain amount over night. My littles ones sleep needs has dramatically dropped mind wow! She woke 620, had a 30 min nap today 1040-1110 and then went sleep for 640pm

So you think babies are smarter with?

I had a first time dad say babies that's breastfed have a 3% iq higher than a baby that's being formula feed. I told him it don't matter if they are breastfeed or formula feed it depends on the parents if they are teaching them and sI ending time with them vs just putting them in front of a tv or tablets. He said I sound stupid.

Relactation

Has anyone started their breastfeeding/pumping journey again after a very long break of dry. I haven’t breastfed or pumped for 3 months and I’m thinking about restarting. I just pumped and got a small amount of colostrum out but I don’t know if I’ll ever get a supply back.

Nappies or pull ups?

Are you supposed to change from nappies to pull ups when they start walking? I’m still using nappies

Sleep training guilt

We've just sleep trained our 4.5 month old and it's worked really well. Gone from 4-5 wake ups each night with needing to feed back to sleep + nerve wracking transfers, to 10.5 hour sleeps with minimal stirring and no crying to sleep. He's a happy boy during the day too, and goes down for naps fairly easily in his cot too.

We did NOT use the cry it out method, but still why does social media shame me and make me feel like the worst parent ever 😥 there are so many nasty comments about how I don't love my son if I chose to sleep train him and how I've created attachment issues, despite no research suggesting that whatsoever.
Sorry, just came to vent ☹️

Experience with not circumcising

Hi!
Having my baby boy any day now. My first is a girl and in a way that felt easier for the sake of feeling like I know what comes with being a girl. Me and my partner decided not to circumcise our son but everyone I know has been circumcised or circumcised their sons. I understand why people do circumcise it but it’s not something I’m comfortable with and don’t want to for the sake of “everyone else does it”.

Can anyone give me advice or tips or what to expect with not circumcising their sons? Feeling lost and anxious over it.

TIA!

Does your baby wake up

I have a 4 month old when he is sleeping dad and I will start having sex. Since the baby was born he will wake up almost every time. He’s usually a hard sleeper.
Is this normal? If this happens to you is your baby a boy or girl?
