Duvet and pillow

What age are you giving you LO a duvet a pillow, my boy is almost 2 and I he’s growing out of his 12-24 sleep sack, he loves his sleep sacks but that seems to be the age they stop at, do I start him with a duvet and pillow at 2? Or just duvet and no pillow? Also he is still in a cot is a duvet safe in a cot? 🤣 sorry FTM

I have 18-36 month sleeping bags but I have bought a duvet to try soon but I am going to try a pillow first to see If she stops moving before I introduce a duvet

Both my kids hated sleep sacks and being restrained, they fought sleep if I put them in them 🤣

Duvets at 12m both of them and then pillow around 18m

Mines still in sleep sacks as she’s turning 3, I’ve found longer and older ones :) she’s had a pillow since around 1 along with her sleep sack. I’m sure she’d be absolutely fine with a duvet but she sleeps so well that if it ain’t broke I’m not going to fix it 😄

My little one can’t stand sleep suits so had a pillow and duvet since 12 months, he often keeps one leg in and one leg out of duvet, never had any issues! X

My son is 2.5 and has recently got a duvet and pillow (he started taking his sleeping bag off when he didn’t want to go to bed) and is loving it x

So you think babies are smarter with?

I had a first time dad say babies that's breastfed have a 3% iq higher than a baby that's being formula feed. I told him it don't matter if they are breastfeed or formula feed it depends on the parents if they are teaching them and sI ending time with them vs just putting them in front of a tv or tablets. He said I sound stupid.

Relactation

Has anyone started their breastfeeding/pumping journey again after a very long break of dry. I haven’t breastfed or pumped for 3 months and I’m thinking about restarting. I just pumped and got a small amount of colostrum out but I don’t know if I’ll ever get a supply back.

Nappies or pull ups?

Are you supposed to change from nappies to pull ups when they start walking? I’m still using nappies

Sleep training guilt

We've just sleep trained our 4.5 month old and it's worked really well. Gone from 4-5 wake ups each night with needing to feed back to sleep + nerve wracking transfers, to 10.5 hour sleeps with minimal stirring and no crying to sleep. He's a happy boy during the day too, and goes down for naps fairly easily in his cot too.

We did NOT use the cry it out method, but still why does social media shame me and make me feel like the worst parent ever 😥 there are so many nasty comments about how I don't love my son if I chose to sleep train him and how I've created attachment issues, despite no research suggesting that whatsoever.
Sorry, just came to vent ☹️

Experience with not circumcising

Hi!
Having my baby boy any day now. My first is a girl and in a way that felt easier for the sake of feeling like I know what comes with being a girl. Me and my partner decided not to circumcise our son but everyone I know has been circumcised or circumcised their sons. I understand why people do circumcise it but it’s not something I’m comfortable with and don’t want to for the sake of “everyone else does it”.

Can anyone give me advice or tips or what to expect with not circumcising their sons? Feeling lost and anxious over it.

TIA!

Does your baby wake up

I have a 4 month old when he is sleeping dad and I will start having sex. Since the baby was born he will wake up almost every time. He’s usually a hard sleeper.
Is this normal? If this happens to you is your baby a boy or girl?
