What time are we starting routine and our babies actually going to sleep?

So usually, I start my bedtime at 7 and aim to get her to bed 8-8.30 pm.
But tonight as she refused her last nap and hasn’t slept since 4pm I’ve had to start it early, I’m ready to feed her at 6.50 pm and probably have her in bed for 7.30 pm.. this feels way too early idk 🤣😆
What time do you do?

Because of naps and his older brother, we have a bed time of between 8-9pm. I get zero time for me unless I wake up at 5am (f**k that), but it works for now!

Since I dropped one of her naps she’s been going to bed between 6pm and 7pm. It’s seemed to have worked but she’s not well at the moment so she’s not sleeping great at the moment. Apparently 6 month old babies are supposed to be getting between 11-12 hours of sleep at night and should be going to be between 6:30pm and 7:30pm. Since my little one keeps waking up at 5:30am I have started the bedtime routine a little early. It also depends on how the day goes, when her last nap was etc x

I was aiming for 7.30, but was having issues with early waking for the day (5am is too much for me!). Asked around and was advised to start bedtime earlier so now he's down for the night around 6.30pm and it's definitely helping with the mornings!

Depending on naps, bedtime varies from 1900-2000. It’s also dependent on when my husband and I finally eat…

Between 6 and 7 at the moment, he normally wakes up at 5:30 😩 He’s still on 4 naps a day but only sleeps around 20-30 minutes at a time during those

I do, food at 6pm because eventually when shes eating proper meals, thats when we will all sit down and eat together. Then bath between 6.30/7 and then bottle and bed by 7.30/8. Been doing this for a while now and bath and bed since 4months. Works well for us

My boy is in bed by 7 every night (last nap finishes roughly 4pm). One day when he woke up super early from his nap he wanted to sleep at 17:45 and I just put him to bed 🤷🏼‍♀️ still slept his normal night

Our LG goes to sleep at 9 these days (wakes up at 4-5 for a feed, sometimes she then sleeps more and sometimes not). Our day naps are between 30min and 2 hours.. We had a phase when she'd go to sleep between 6:30 - and 7:30 but recently it's been at around 9 🤷🏼‍♀️

So you think babies are smarter with?

I had a first time dad say babies that's breastfed have a 3% iq higher than a baby that's being formula feed. I told him it don't matter if they are breastfeed or formula feed it depends on the parents if they are teaching them and sI ending time with them vs just putting them in front of a tv or tablets. He said I sound stupid.

Relactation

Has anyone started their breastfeeding/pumping journey again after a very long break of dry. I haven’t breastfed or pumped for 3 months and I’m thinking about restarting. I just pumped and got a small amount of colostrum out but I don’t know if I’ll ever get a supply back.

Experience with not circumcising

Hi!
Having my baby boy any day now. My first is a girl and in a way that felt easier for the sake of feeling like I know what comes with being a girl. Me and my partner decided not to circumcise our son but everyone I know has been circumcised or circumcised their sons. I understand why people do circumcise it but it’s not something I’m comfortable with and don’t want to for the sake of “everyone else does it”.

Can anyone give me advice or tips or what to expect with not circumcising their sons? Feeling lost and anxious over it.

TIA!

Hey mommas

For my anxiety ridden, overthinking mamas….. how do y’all function? Like I’m serious. Idk if there’s a medicine I can take to relax or just pray it out of me…idk…..but I notice EVERYTHING. Every smirk, every loss of eye contact, every text that i may be interpreting wrong… all of it. Overthink and just become filled with anxiety. My simple interactions turn into “why did they say it like that?” Or “they must be thinking badly of me or they don’t really like me.”

I knew it was bad this morning when I asked daycare if they need anything else for the grad party tomorrow. The response was kinda strange to me so I assumed she must not really want me to come and that maybe I should buy something else today to give to make things better. Like ………………….

Nappies or pull ups?

Are you supposed to change from nappies to pull ups when they start walking? I’m still using nappies

Does your baby wake up

I have a 4 month old when he is sleeping dad and I will start having sex. Since the baby was born he will wake up almost every time. He’s usually a hard sleeper.
Is this normal? If this happens to you is your baby a boy or girl?
