First time Mum and have been exclusively breastfeeding. I haven't yet used my pump or had anyone else feed her yet as been worried about it affecting how well the breastfeeding has been going. However I am worried if I leave it too long she won't ever take a bottle and I won't be able to leave her with anyone when the time comes. Any advice or experiences shared would be welcomed š

I was advised with my first to wait until 6 weeks and it was too late, my boy never took a bottle. We started last night trying my new babe with a bottle (4 weeks old) and went well so far x

We introduced a bottle at 4 weeks and she had a bottle of breast milk a day until she was 12 months. Sheās now 16 months and breastfeeding as I type this. We never had any issue with confusion or preference

I introduced a bottle at 2 weeks and my baby still perfectly feeds from the breast and a bottle X

Bottles arenāt the only option, cups work just fine too and are great for EBF babies who refuse to latch onto plastic š

Gosh I could of written this myself! Im desperate to have a slightly longer stretch of sleep in the evening, but Iām so worried itāll end our BF journey. Iāve got a few oz in the fridge but I just canāt bring myself to use it
