What toys are you getting/giving your nearly 1 year olds? Really keen to get something that will encourage development in every area, but not something they can’t really use till 18 month+ because I can hold out till Christmas for that stuff. My son is incredibly active and very confident with it! Non stop moving

Would love to know to as i decided to keep the tonies box (initial idea) for Christmas and was thinking of a water table and some blocks perhaps?...

If your LO hasn't got one already a play kitchen might be a good idea. It encourages independent play and motor skills

Going to get mine a little trike which then turns into a balance bike/bike!

My daughter never sits still apart from to play with a shape sorter. We got a box of wooden blocks with a shape sorter lid and she just suddenly started loving it from the age of about 13 months (also great for open ended play as can build with them etc) She also likes big chunky peg puzzles too, basically anything that involves trying to figure out how to put something into somewhere x

I'll be getting some fisher price play sets

A softplay would be a good idea or play tent / tunnel
