My boys are circumcised and my newborn will be circumcised!!!!!
Past experiences with past sexual encounter wasn’t good at all. Eww 🤮

I didn't circumcise and I won't.

The purpose of circumcision has nothing to do with sexual encounters in the first place. Imagine someone cutting the most sensitive part of your genitalia off just because they think you’re too incompetent to clean it properly. It is unnecessary mutilation. You should also do more research about what they do with your baby’s foreskin. It has powerful specialized cells and they’re highly sought after in skincare companies and medical research. Also body shaming men for not being circumcised is disgusting and I’ve never had an unclean experience with an uncircumcised man. I won’t be cutting part of a perfect child’s body off with no solid reasoning. My partner is circumcised and that’s great but we know better so we will do better. It’s always my body my choice until you’re cutting part of a baby’s penis.

You were just with dirty dudes then lol. My husband is not and hes very clean I’ve never once had an issue. My baby is not. That’s a choice I wouldn’t want to make over my sons body.

I left it up too my husband because well I dont have that part. So my boys were circumcised.

My husband and I did not circumcise our son. I personally feel that we created a beautiful baby boy just the way he was supposed to be created 💗 I also do not like to make choices for my kids bodies unless it is for their health or safety, and circumcision does not fall into that category for me.

I personally left the choice up to my husband because, one he is a male and has the same anatomy and two he isn’t circumcised. I have never had any “hygiene “ problems with my husband so that excuse people use is just odd . I just feel like ultimately it’s a preference and nothing is wrong with that.

Circumcising your kids because of your past sexual encounters is weird, why would you mutilate your child and remove a piece of skin that protects the penis because you were with dirty men. Teach them how to wash it simple!

When should cousins of opposite sexes stop seeing each other naked?

Was giving my almost 4 year old a bath and her boy cousin (3.5) was running in and out. We have him a lot and for the first time I wondered if I should stop it. They go to the bathroom together all the time too.

Anyone else hating the newborn phase second time around?

I tell you what, if my second was my first I’d probably only have one child
I love my second so much obviously, but when I say she screams every second she is awake I mean literally every second and this has been going on from day 2 of her being here and she’s now almost a month old
I am losing the plot, I am exhausted, my first born is being so good about it all thank god because if I was her I’d be begging to send the baby back 🫠😭
I cannot wait for these newborn colic days to be gone and I feel so guilty about it but I am honestly having such a shit time compared to my first

Repeating

I just wanted to know if am the only one. My girl loves listening or watching a specific movie over and over again and I didn't see it as a problem till other said something. My girl right now loves watching free willy, the movie about orca my sister was like not again, and am like what's wrong? She like am annoyed by it am like am not lol. Then my mother in law was singing with my girl and she would only do it twice, the third time she would say no more is to much. I literally can watch and sing her favorites for hours. I actually don't understand why am not annoyed by the repeating movie and song. Any one else?

Help!

Just had baby and it's our first night home. An older nurse in the hospital told us to always be able to see his face in case he silently chokes. He is being breastfed and we actively burp him when he cries, etc. This freaked me out and is making us sleep in shifts even though we're both exhausted.

Own room

Has anybody moved their baby into their own room before 6 months if they are sleeping well? What’s your thoughts and how young did you move them?

Our baby settles himself and is starting to sleep longer stretches.

Falling asleep independently

My 13m takes ages to fall asleep. I’ll put her down 10ish mins before she is supposed to be asleep. But she’ll just play for ages, sometimes over an hour.

How do I get her to fall asleep on her own. I used to be able to put her in her crib drowsy or awake, white noise on, comforter, dummy. And leave the room and she would be asleep within a few mins. But for the last 6 weeks, she’s been really hard. I can’t leave the room or she’ll cry. She wanted me to nurse her, hold her. And I’ve managed to get her to bd in her cot calmly. But she just won’t sleep.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
