1st birthdays 🄲

As our babies first birthdays are starting to come around fairly soon (internally crying😭) I was just wondering if anyone had a birthday present inspiration?!

My issue that I’m struggling with is she’s my second born and I kept things like walkers, activity tables and stuff that we got my first for his first birthday, so just looking for some other ideas. Also thought this might help other mums who are starting to think about birthdaysšŸ«¶šŸ¼

Is this normal?

Sorry if this is tmi but I birth 11 weeks ago. I finally stopped bleeding 2 weeks ago and my period started yesterday. I know the first cycle after delivery is always the worst but I don’t know if this is normal. I’m bleeding through my ultra sized tampons within 2-3 hours. Like bleeding through my pants level and when I take them out, it’s just running out of me like a faucet. Is this normal?

Registering birth what would you do šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

Obviously my boys aren’t here yet but I’ve recently found out they’re reopened the registry office in town so was interested to see what the appointments are like as it’s only open one day a week

When I put it’s two registers twins no appointments show but when I put 1 child there’s one appointment every week for weeks šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

If I pick the next town over (30-40ish minutes drive on a good day ) I would be able to register them both together

Problem being my husband doesn’t drive, I’m not supposed to drive for 6 weeks as I’m having a C-section and you have to register a birth within 6 weeks šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

Would you piss around with a taxi (or drive if feel able) to register them both together or piss about register them one at a time over 2 weeks at the registry office that’s literally 5 minutes away

(Trying to plan ahead because I know we’re going to be run of our feet with 2 babies & a 3 year old)

I haven't been drinking enough water is 3D ultrasound pointless?

I have been drinking maybe one of my 26oz cups of water a day I’m sure that’s not enough. I’m getting one of the many ultrasounds of my twins tomorrow (28w) do you think it’ll be way too blurry?

Labor pains or regular pains ?

I’m due for a C-section on the 27th but my doctor said labor could progress before and I’d have to come in earlier so I’m scared to call up and it be labor but I’m scared to call up and it just be regular Pains too .. I’ve been having them for almost 2 weeks now it’s a bruised pulling feeling from my butt bone to my pelvic area when I walk sit or move in bed to get up and I can feel baby pushing hard down there my pelvic bone is straight not curved and it’s causing problems so even if I’m dilating baby can’t come vaginally without complications please let me know what I should do my last was an inducement that ended in emergency c section 2 days later so I didn’t have these pains with him until I was in active labor then I had arrest of labor at 7 cm so they did emergency c section . Sorry for the long post just kinda freaking out and don’t know whether to go or not to labor and delivery just to be sent home any tips on how to tell what pains they are or ways to try and soothe them will help I’ve been staying hydrated and resting like my doctor said when I went in and told her at my last appointment on the 18th but it hasn’t helped at all it’s been like this for almost 2 weeks ..

Baby’s kidneys

Hi moms! Posting on here is out of my comfort zone but today we saw MFM because my baby’s tummy has been measuring small and my amniotic fluid has been low for the last 5 appointments. Today they told us he’s measuring on track and my levels are all good. With that being said, MFM told us they can’t find/ weren’t able to see his right kidney. I asked what this means and she said the left kidney just kinda takes over for both and there are plenty of people walking around with only 1 kidney and don’t know it. She didn’t make it a big deal and wants to see us again in 4 weeks to check again. How have we done ultrasounds every week to check his weight and not noticed one was missing? Does anyone have experience with this that can tell me anything? I guess I just want to know what this means in the long run, will he need ultrasounds and extra monitoring all growing up, will he live any kind of different life from being born without one? If anyone has any peace of mind please, I’m just stressed and worried! 31 weeks 3 days!
