Breast pump

Hey everyone! 👋 I’m 33 weeks and honestly feeling so overwhelmed lol. I really need to get a breast pump this weekend but the reviews on the ones I’ve looked at are not it 😩
I was leaning towards Momcozy but a few people have said it either stopped working on them or broke down pretty fast, so now I’m second-guessing myself.
Has anyone used a brand they’d actually recommend? I just want something that’s going to last and not give me headaches 😅 Any suggestions are appreciated!

Medela. Never had any issues with it

I used the medela hand pump and elvie wearables (bit expensive but got mine 2nd hand). They have an app to let you see how much you're producing and controlling suction which I love!

Ive seen people say the Spectra wall plug in is good but I don't like being pinned down haha

I can’t say what’s best because I have no idea but I use Lansinoh discrete duo I like them 🤷🏽‍♀️ worked good enough for me better in the beginning later I had to adjust my flange size to get more milk out. I also recommend the lansinoh bottles if your breastfeeding and bottle feeding.

I used to Momcozy and I liked it! I will say it seemed to lose strength as time went on but I ended up exclusively pumping and using it a lot and it still worked well enough! One of mine did break however I bought it off amazon and they’re fab at allowing you to return and replace them so that would be my recommendation if you were to buy one. They just sent me new ones

As a mother of nonverbal kids I need y'all with verbal kids to know that our babies are being abused at school.

Every other day there is something. A mom put a camera in her son's braids and caught a teacher choking him and calling him the n word. Poor baby couldn't speak but she knew something was up. There were multiple autistic kids in a school being taken to a basement and stripped naked.

I hope you teach your kids if they see something to say something to you because not everyone's babies can.

Dummy or avoid?

My baby is 4 weeks and we haven’t introduced a dummy yet. Are there any drawbacks to doing this? It’s not a huge issue to avoid it for us but would probably help us stop some fussing and provide a bit of comfort. We are breastfeeding but it’s going well so far. Any thoughts welcome! Also wondering on sterilising them especially on the go how does everyone do this doesn’t it become a huge faff?

Bathtime backache

Hey all, what are we doing to save our poor backs during bath time?

I'm still waiting on the 6 week clear to take a bath so can't jump in with her. And even if I could, do I still have to have it shallow? I couldn't cope with the coldness!

I have an angel care bath and leaning over is taking its toll! Also if anyone has tips for strengthening back muscles I'll give those a try!

Recommendations on bottles for breast feeding and bottle feeding mumma’s

I’m expecting my first this year and I desperately want to both breast and bottle feed baby! I however have such a fear that once baby has bottle they won’t want to feed from breast.

Any recommendations of bottles that you have used successfully and still been able to get baby to bottle feed please let me know!x
