I'm on my second and last baby and am scheduled to have a C-section in June. My first was an urgent section and tbh it's kinda all a blur.
I'd love to hear experiences from folks that remember. How C was the spinal? Painful? How was the pressure? Step by step please!

I’ve had two and both were lovely and calm.
The spinal doesn’t hurt at all. It’s just uncomfortable as you have to bend forward a bit which is hard to do with a big belly 😊 takes a minute and starts working fast!
Both times I didn’t even know they’d started my section, they work fast and are so good at keeping everything chilled and happy.
I had the radio on both times, the camera filming, staff took photos, I got skin to skin and delayed cord clamping and I was in recovery within the hour. I was up and walking about 10 hours after, catheter out, showered and walking without any issue.
I’ll have my third the same way. Happy to answer any questions xx

for me it was a little difficult i had a planned c section and my son ended up being 6 weeks premature and every 15 minutes nurses and doctors kept telling me i need to push instead of the c section and i completely lost it and told them that if they come back in here with that again im going to report all of them, but after that everything went smoothly, the spinal is like a pressure pinch, and the nurse was holding my hands, i was cold and shaking so they brought me a heated blanket, the c section was quick and i got to see my baby, but sadly i passed out shortly after and don’t remember much, but id choose a c section again no matter the experience because its the most comfortable option for me, just remember to do what you want because at the end of the day its your life dont let nurses or doctors try to scare you into pushing!
