Hi i was just curious where my little guy is at compared to others his age, he was born july 12 2025 so he’s 10.5 months, he’s toddling pretty quickly and his pediatrician said since a lot of his focus is in motor skills he might be slightly behind in areas like speech, he says a couple things but most aren’t understandable to everyone the only clear thing he says is dad and dada with clear intention sometimes but he also just toddles around going da da da
words we think he’s trying to say are
“mama”
“baba/ bottle”
“dog” / “cat” (he’s been raised around 4 dogs and 4 cats)
“cup”
“yeah” and “eh eh”

wow you’re guy is ahead of mine! we think he’s maybe trying to say mama? but mostly still just lots of random babbling. he’s very clearly said “marv” a few times, which is our cat lol. but that was a month or so ago and he hasn’t said it since

My boy at 10 months has mainly said “dada” “mama” “mom” “baba” and babbles

Same with Lexi. Mine is also 10 months

My son is 15 months. Only says mama and dada clearly and tries to say bar (his snack bar) but says ba, and babbles all the time. My pediatrician said this is extremely normal and said that as long as my son understands what I'm saying to him that is normal.
I wouldn't stress yet mama, I'd wait just a bit longer to worry if it's something more.
