As I’m breastfeeding I’m unable to use OPKs or track BBT, so this month I’ve solely been basing it on my body symptoms.
This month i had extreme ewcm in CD 9 for ovulation and then it returned at 9dpo. I also had cramping from 8-10dpo. My cervix is currently high. Hoping to test tomorrow at 11dpo. 9dpo frer was negative.
But because I’m basing it off physical symptoms rather than test results/readings I’m worried I am bigging things up in my head that could point to pregnancy that I’d usually ignore. I know progesterone will play a huge part in my symptoms
Does anyone prefer this method for ttc? Or have any tips about over analysing everything? I’ve found it so interesting listening to by body’s intuition!

Wondering why you can’t use OPKs if you’re breastfeeding?

I think ewcm is the best indicator or ovulation but I agree that it’s really easy to overthink symptoms during the TWW which are things I probably wouldn’t usually even notice! My first baby was a surprise so feels very different this time round.
So breastfeeding releases a hormone called prolactin which can hide LH test results for some women. So frustrating 🫠.
I went into this month thinking doing it natures way without testing would give me a calmer peace of mind. I was wrong 😂.
Testing tomo at what I think is 12dpo and I’ve got that sense already of being out this month. 🙃
My first baby was a total surprise too! Number 2 was a 14 cycle effort with tracking. X
