Anyone pregnant after IVF how did you go about stopping IVF medications? did you just stop altogether cold turkey or slowly tapper off?

Clinic has advised stop at 12 weeks extremely anxious to stop
Meds I’m on -
Blood thinners fragmin
Aspirin
Progesteone lubion / cyclogest
Elleste solo estrogen

I slowly tapered off. I didn't have the estrogen but I stopped fragmin at about 13 weeks still doing it every morning, I carried on with aspirin my whole pregnancy and the cyclogest I started once a day instead of 2 from 12 weeks until 14 then stopped

I just stopped them from one day to another last time and planning the same for the current one.
Im only on estrogen and utrogestan though, not the others.
I had a few days headache last time but that was all 🤷‍♀️

I stopped everything but my low dose aspirin. However they had me taper off my progesterone. My OB kept me on the low dose aspirin due to the benefits of helping with preventative of preeclampsia..I’m currently almost 21 weeks…i would def ask about tapering off some meds like progesterone and estrogen.

Is it multiples?

Tested faint positive 8dpo because I was feeling symptoms - strong sense of smell, some light nausea. 3 days later and the symptoms and test line are strong, still 3 days before missed period. Could it be multiples?

Digital tests!!

I took a weeks indicator test and it came back positive 1-2 weeks, I took an ultra early test (red light one) with the same urine sample at the same time and it came back not pregnant?

Was the week’s one wrong? I’ll retest in the morning but my fiancé and I were so exited and now that’s just been completed sucked out 😭

Sexy time

Hi all,

Was wondering how long have you waited before starting to have sexy time again with your loved ones if already started or if you are on your second, third children?

I feel ready to start again with the whole sexy time process not only part of it (currently 4 weeks PP), I had a second degree tear, but it seems fully healed as I don’t feel any more discomfort while peeing or pooing. I also have several days when I did not bleed at all and some days where I have very little blood traces, nothing significant.

In my home country is usually advised to wait 40 days (6 weeks) until a doctor checks you out and gives you the go ahead, but wanted to see what is your take on this.

I feel like I get a period each time I ovulate so feel like Iv literally got no chance of getting pregnant,does anyone know why think might be happening ?
