Early Stages of Labour 😬

I’ve been having contractions on and off since yesterday evening! Feel like im in a limbo phase of seeing how long this could go on for!

Just wondering how long people were contracting before their waters broke or contractions got really painful and close together?

4 hours but I didn’t know those were contractctions and the labour all of a sudden started to escalate immediately

I had 8 days of ‘prodromal’ labour before things properly got going. I spent most of those days actively trying to encourage and then the morning I actually delivered I said to my partner “I’m not doing anything today, I’m going to watch movies and maybe make a cake”. Never got the opportunity to do either because I was in the depths of labour within a couple of hours.
Try to ignore it (I know easier said than done), it can go on for days for some people xx

After my husband and I had sex my contractions started I tired to sleep them off and my water broke 1-2 hours later. My second I was induced so I can’t really compare those.

I started cramping/contracting at about 4:30 Monday evening. Waters broken about 9pm Tuesday. Gave birth 6:15pm Wednesday.

After my waters broken my contractions instantly got waaay more intense!

Contractions started at 7am half hour apart and the gradually got closer throughout the day. Come 9:30pm waters broke and the contractions were 5-10 minutes apart so I went to the hospital. Started pushing at midnight and gave birth at 3:17am xxxx

My waters leaked at 11am Wednesday, went to have it checked but they didn’t believe me. Thursday they broke fully at 4am and I started contracting slowly. 9pm was told to go to hospital as contractions were so strong and frequent. I was in labour alllll day. Turns out I was only 2cm dilated.
Friday gave birth at 9:15pm via emergency c section because it had been so long since waters broke, I caught sepsis lol x

My waters never broke until I was 10 cm baby was coming out. The timing of your contractions could be a better indicator

23 weeks

Was told at 20 week scan that the baby was too small, we are now having growth scans and have been told my placenta isn't working properly and the baby is on the 3th percentile anyone had this experience?.

Red line on nose

My baby woke up from his first nap of the day with this red vertical line on his nose (and a little bit below it). He is 11 months old.

Any idea what this is? Should I be concerned?

He slept in his cot, which is empty, and I am not aware of him hitting his nose in his sleep.

need advice

Im just wondering if there is any one out there that is past 37 weeks had a scan done and seen that there little one is engaged?
I had alot of movement yesterday/last night with my little one. Going to go to bed and the cramping started but they didn't last long and adventually I was able to go to bed.
I woke up the morning able to get out of bed straight away walk and didn't have a limp like I usually done with my sciatica and also was able to sit oj my bed and bend over to pick my phone up of the ground that was on charge with out my belly getting in the way.
I dont see my consultant until Monday so will be all the wiser then if baby is engaged I just hope he is and thats what the cramping was for

Growth scan - concerned 36weeks

My baby has gone from 4lb 2oz to 6lb 15oz, I have been told I have to see a consultant within the next week about this. The tummy is measuring big at 94%.

Has anyone else had this? I’m slightly worried due to how big the tummy is.

Hi all! I’ve got my first scan on Monday and feeling a bit apprehensive as I’ve got a bit of a belly and worried they won’t be able to get a clear image - has anyone had experience with this - good or bad?
