Stopping Breastfeeding

Hello! I have a 15 month old who I still breastfeed in the morning before nursery, then evenings/ nights. I feel our BF needs to come to an end, but don’t know how 🫣 I also feel like she wakes due to habit now so we still have at least 2 wakes every night. Any tips mamas?

Girl same, really trying to wean mine off been mentally trying for months, i nurse her to sleep and rocking is effort 🤣 i stop sometimes and tell her boobies bye bye and she gets it but like this heat wave made me cave and give up rocking! So hard!! I did get mine babies bottles which shes never used before and do her warm milk before sleeps, and just try rocking her down when shes super tired and often in the hall or another room, its tough, i think they’re just gonna protest 😅

I been slowly trying. My baby likes to be caressed, rocked, patted, soft touches to face, soft blanket, and is given a teddy. Nursing is about warmth and ccomfort so its trying to nurture by doing other things. I play soft music, spray lavendar.
Another tip is to feed heavier snack before bedtime so the food sits on her stomach and she doesnt wake much. I have tried puree with baby cereal mixed in, protein yogurt, peanut butter toast, avocado slices, anything that will take a while to digest.

I stopped nursing at 14 months, what worked for us was dropping one session at a time. And replacing morning and before bed session with reg cows milk

Take the morning feed away for a week or two push for a larger solid feeding at night then cut the bedtime feed. Having the big solid feeding is going to be what keeps them asleep

Breastfeeding mummas and growth spurt

My boy turned 6 weeks today and I know there's a growth spurt at 6 weeks. Any mummas who breastfeed, have you found baby gets fussy/cries at the breast in the evening and found anything that helps. For the past 2 days, my boy when he feeds between 8-10pm gets super fussy, he'll latch feed and then unlatch and gets fussy and cries when relatching but when relatching he'll have the nipple in his mouth but won't clamp down and latch and act like its not there. I know its normal at this stage but its just stressful for us both. He feeds fine every other time its just the 8-10pm feed this happens with and only started the past 2 days. Any mummas have any tips to help us ride this out?

Perfumes and babies

My baby girl is 1 week old and we’ve had some family and friends visit, but not loads. The first time my mum came to see her and after she’d held her for a while baby smelt quite strongly of her perfume.

I don’t want to offend my mum (or anyone else) but I also don’t want my newborn to smell of Jo Malone 😫 is there any way I can mention this and request she doesn’t wear perfume to see the baby without offending?

Has anyone done craniosacral therapy for their newborns?

Is it actually useful, how did you find it? I am trying to understand if it’s legitimate and useful
