Night wakings

Hey guys, so I gave up telling his pediatrician this lol so I'm looking for help somewhere else. So my 13 month old has never slept throughout the night and he wakes up anywhere from 8 times to 15 times at night and I'm getting veryyyy exhausted and I feel like he is too his under eyes is black from lack of sleep sometimes he naps for 2 hours but most of the time just 30 minutes he is breastfed and he will not go back to sleep without it. Anyone experiencing or experienced the same thing is this actually normal?

8-15 wakeups every night at 13 months sounds so exhausting 😭 honestly I’d maybe look into reflux or another discomfort issue too because that seems like a lot for both of you. Teething, allergies, low iron, etc. Might be worth bringing it up again with a pediatrician or even getting a second opinion if you feel dismissed. Also if you get to the point where you’re considering co sleeping for your sanity just make sure to look into the Safe Sleep 7 so it can be done as safely as possible. Some breastfeeding babies really do sleep better close to mama. I hope you both get some rest soon šŸ¤

When my daughter was 13 months i weaned her off of nursing all night long. It was tough but gradual. Took a few weeks.

Have you asked your doctor for iron tests? Thats an insane number of wakes.

My daughter has always been a tricky sleeper. We actually just transitioned to a toddler bed and that has worked wonders! I saw online that some babies don’t like being trapped and do worlds better with a toddler bed or floor bed. We just switched 2 nights ago but both nights have been worlds better!!!

Both of my kids had multiple night wakings at that age but that sounds like something else going on.

Any allergies, oral ties, reflux, open mouth breathing or snoring, extreme restlessness while sleeping?

Unused nappies

What’s everyone doing with nappies that no longer fit their baby? I have a bag full of size 1 and 2 and no idea what to do with it. I don’t just want to throw them away. Btw I’m in the UK.

4th Baby ?

I had my 3rd baby last autumn and he has been my chillest by far, I love the dynamic of 3 but i can't shift the feeling of i don't want him to be my last. No one around me has gone to 3 let alone 4. I know its a whole new level once they are on the move, those who have had larger families did the dynamics change majorly with a 4th ?

Exclusively breastfeeding help!

My health visitor has suggested to try and breastfeed more often, but how do you exclusively breastfeeding mums do it?!
It feels impossible to me as I feel like my boy is constantly latched to me.

Also, we have had tickets to the theatre since last yesterday, so how do you leave your baby with someone if you’re only breastfeeding?

Baby is spitting his formula milk immediately whenever that is offered to him? Any advice on that? He’s currently on Kendamil.
