Maternity triage for reduced movement

In best case scenario, how long do they usually monitor you for before they are reassured when going to maternity triage?
Trying give a realistic estimate for what I should tell my manager before going. Obviously I know it could be longer if they noticed something is wrong.

The machine runs for 20 minutes assuming the trace is okay and it doesn’t need more information but it’s the same as a walk in for minor ailments in that you’ll be triaged and asked to wait if there’s more urgent cases x
They also do full obs x

With my first pregnancy when I went in, they only checked for heart beat and then when the heart rate was okay, they sent me off again. I think I was there a total of 20 minutes and 15 minutes of that was waiting time

Depends how many weeks you are - i had to go the other day at 24 almost 25 weeks and they didnt put me on machine. They just measured blood pressure, urine sample and then used the doppler thing and found the heartbeat and measured for a minute. She said its all the can do at that gestation

I was just in earlier at St George’s you get check for Doppler thing and heart rate & BP of yourself the whole process took about 45 min including wait time, I am 25.5 weeks so just under 26 weeks for the constant monitoring

I went the other week. They checked me with a doppler pretty quickly but they asked if I would also like a scan for reassurance which I agreed to. I was there over 4 hours due to waiting times x

I was in on Sunday just gone for reduced movements at 27 weeks, they said the monitor can take between 10mins to an hour, I was on for 20 mins, they were satisfied with baby and so was I, then them booked me for a scan the day after just to make sure, baby boy is perfect and was just having a lazy day 🩵

Last time I went for this was 5 years ago so I definitely think it’s all changed based on these comments but when I went I was there for a long time on the monitor. They gave me a button to press when I felt movements and said to give it an hour then if after an hour I still didn’t feel anything they’d give me another hour on the monitor to see if anything changes. I think I was there for about 2 hours every time I went in with my last pregnancy. Not including any wait times though because it was always late at night when the waiting room was basically empty and I’d have an ‘oh shit’ moment when I realised getting into bed that I hadn’t felt her all day haha
Thankfully haven’t had any worries yet with this one 🤞
