C section

Anyone else have a c-section? How are you recovering? I attempted vbac but the placenta was separating from the baby so I had to get an emergency c-section. I’m 3 weeks post partum.

I had one on May 18th and I still struggle a little to bend all the way over and go on longer walks but for the most part I’m healing pretty well! How are you healing?

I’m 3 wks PP from a c-section as well! It’s definitely a more difficult recovery for me but I’ve had a hard time not pushing my limits. Having a toddler at home doesn’t help that. But when you remember that it is major surgery and look at the week by week healing - it is pretty amazing what we can do and continue to do to care for these little babes.

I’d say it’s going good so far

Just hard cause I’m alone with newborn and toddler

Had one May 6th, planned, That being said I’m still not cleared for strenuous activity. I have noticed I have less swelling and my recovery is faster this time than with my first which was emergency.

Me, I had an emergency C-section due to her being stuck in my pelvis, im 3 weeks pp and getting better, my incision still burns and hurts due to the nerve pain but today I walked (slowly) around the parks by my house and walked 1 and a half miles :) i was tired of brief walks around the block lol

I had a unexpected c-section on may 29th… honestly I thought it would be way scarier than what it was I’m glad my baby is okay and so am I. Only a few days into recovery and I’m doing so much better !

Elective c-section vs vaginal birth

I was pretty confident in my decision to have an elective c-section. I suffer from vaginismus, really struggle with vaginal exams and I’m terrified of instrumental delivery. But I had an appointment with an obstetrician yesterday and although she wasn’t judgy she was so heavily in favour of vaginal birth and really scared me about elective c-section particularly increasing risk of miscarriage and still born etc in future pregnancy and the baby having to go into neonatal care risk being higher.
I’m not really sure what my question is - just feeling very overwhelmed and wondered if others have made this decision their reasons for it and how they feel confident in it.
Thank you all

leaky boobs🫣

currently 22 weeks, started noticing my nipples leaking (clear but sometimes yellow) slightly since 19 weeks, which has gradually increased. just wondering has anyone else experienced this at this stage? i’m worried that it’s too early to be producing colostrum

Pain in stomach

Hey all, I keep getting a strange pain, it's slightly to the left but middle of my stomach, it's nothing major and I am not sure if it's me trying to digest or whether it's baby pushing up against my stomach. I am 21 weeks, has anyone had anything similar?
