Collecting colostrum

Hi, I just collected some yesterday, just turned 37 weeks today. Felt some mild period like cramps after but nothing that would send me to labour. Although I know some women who did go into labour after pumping. Did u do it for the first baby? I did and it felt the exact same this time, it didn’t induce labour with my first either

I pumped the colostrum into a clean, sterilized bottle. I had some sterilized hospital grade syringes, into which I collected the colostrum, then froze them.

I started yesterday and got nearly 3 ml, no cramps or contracting during or after pumping for me

I've been leaking since 20 weeks so I've been collecting it (not pumping) and have a stash of over 10 oz. I've been given the go ahead to pump but I've only done hand expressing since 38 weeks not using a pump
