2 year old not listening

It's them testing their boundary and everything is a game for them. My toddler is the same, we just had to try our best to explain that cars are dangerous and she can get an ouchy and if cars are around she has to hold mummy's hand. If she does not listen we go back to the house or car right away, no negotiation.
They want to be independent and test all, especially our patience 😆 hang in there mumma!!

My son was a runner for a very long time. He still does it sometimes when something catches his attention but it's not constant like it used to be.
