Looking for advice

I’m ebf mommy and want to introduce bottles as I’m overwhelmed and I’m nog enjoying this feeling.

Which pump should i buy so that i can also increase my supply ? Also which maternity bra should i wear to fit the pump right ? I have no clue around pumping too.

I use https://amzn.eu/d/03NPMl9u to pump. I think it's really good and it's hands free so you can still do other things whilst pumping.

Best thing I did for pumping

When my son was born he was 6 weeks early and my supply was not in and I didn’t want to formula feed him. I got an amazing output after 5 days straight of pumping for what felt like hours and then when he left the NiCu and he came home my supply drooped rapidly, like over 150ml to under 60mls and this kid wanted to eat a lot so the stress didn’t help. I did my research and started drinking mother milk and Moringa tea every morning and let me tell you the difference after a few hours is scary good. The photo is after 13 mins of pumping on a machine that when I used it for 30 mins I got the smallest amount.

This might not work for everyone but it’s definitely something I personally recommend trying at least once if you can and your supply is low.

This is coming from some that did everything, coconut water, oats, hot showers, body armour sports drink, power pumping.

Anyone anxious birthing a whole human infront of their husband?

I don’t want him to see ANYTHING! What if I poop and he sees it? Or just the pure trauma from all the blood and obviously what your coochie looks like during birth.

Does my baby have a bond with me?

Prior to my baby being born I would of never thought these things…

Some background my baby was born small, 5.7lbs currently 7.13lbs at 6weeks.

At 2 weeks I let my baby have a sleepover my in laws house to let me and my partner recharge. He also had a sleep over around 6 weeks.

Gradually as the weeks have gone on since leaving hospital my baby’s behaviour has changed, nappy change is horrific and screams the place down however can have the rare occasion of him being calm letting me change.

However as the weeks have gone on, feeding is a pain, constant sickness, very gassy, he’ll scream when he farts, he farts all the time, screams when put down, screams when trying to console, nothing seems to work.

We went through a couple of formulas with suspected CMPA however the milk made him worse. Doctors said Acid Reflux and have prescribed omeprazole (currently awaiting the prescription to arrive)

My MIL says when she had him he was NEVER like this. My partner even had to FaceTime them to prove it because we left my MIL House the minute we got home baby was inconsolable.

Some days have been beter but 9/10 he is so difficult to settle. He will fall asleep eventually on my chest.

Whenever my MIL have him he lets her change his nappy, is so calm doesn’t scream. She insists he doesn’t have reflux.

Ive not seen what how he is truly like overnight with her but when I see him it makes me think does he think she is his mum or is he playing up, is it reflux.

Im so confused. It’s getting me down.

My mother who is great with children and babies as shes a Teacher struggled to console my baby today he’s not stopped crying. He eventually settled but I think more out of tiring himself out. She said he was very gassy and says some babies are just like this.

Does anyone have any advice or a view on this? I am not doing anything different in the way she looks after him. Apart from she does certain things im not happy with because of SIDS like swaddling him in whatever the weather, laying on pillow/bed layering his clothing. Hes now using a dummy inbetween feeds cause she told me to as hes already on a high 0z of milk.

Does anyone have any advice or a view on this? Im a FTM but I don’t think im a bad mum but my baby barely settles for me will not for my partner at all but will for my MIL and is like a completely different baby at their house. We’ve been there at different times of the day so not sure if reflux has any influence on this and our house is nice so even wondered if it was our house.

Does anyone have any advice or a view on this?

When to cut down to 1 nap?

How do you know when your bub is ready to cut down to 1 nap?

Right now my almost 10m old naps from 12pm - 2pm then again around 4/5pm for 1 hour and a half

the past 2 nights she hasn’t slept well but I think that’s down to a regression or learning now to crawl? Who even knows

When did you know your bubs are ready to cut a nap?

Witching hours

My newborn is 3 weeks old on Monday. She’s very sleepy, sleeps most of the day I’m waking her every 3 hours to feed. She’s now 9lb 7oz so midwife has said we can leave her to wake herself now. But the last few nights she’s been awake from around 6pm to 9pm where nothing settles her ?
Can I assume these are the witching hours? Tonight has been the worst and even an extra feed didn’t help !
