I have a 13 month old and I’ve just been told by my doctor I have PCOS/PMOS. The doctor advised if I want more children I should think about having them soon as my “levels” are high. The doctor said the older I get (I am 25) the harder it will be to convince, possibly leading to needing IVF. My partner and I want 2 children, and we would rather them close in age than having a big age gap (if we had to go down the IVF route or tried for years), it will take us years to save for IVF as we are currently saving to buy a house.
We have started trying for a baby, but it feels slightly like a chore and a lot of pressure on us both (even though we both want to do this). Has anyone else experienced this feeling?
Also I hate the feeling of waiting to see if I can conceive, the wait to know if I’m pregnant, if this is working. Has anyone else felt this way? Any positive experiences on convincing a 2nd with PCOS/PMOS?

I conceived my second baby first try with PCOS and my first baby was a happy accident after being told I’d never conceive naturally. PCOS doesn’t always cause issues with conception.
I did take myo-inositol with my second to shorten my cycles which really helped x

Do you know which type of PMOS you have? I have insulin resistant PMOS and was given met form in which helped regulate my cycles and I became pregnant a few months later

PCOS girly here, diagnosed at 17. Fell pregnant with my first baby at the age of 28.
I know they're 'professionals' but sometimes they really don't know anything, especially not PCOS. Doctors are truly uneducated in this, which is why the name has been changed to PMOS to hopefully help more doctors take this condition seriously!!
They told me I'd also struggle to conceive but here I am. They don't always know best x
