I’m quite nervous about giving birth as it’s my first!
I’ve been looking to water birth or to opt for c sections just because of how anxious I’m feeling!
Is this normal does anyone have any suggestions on what’s better to do 😩

A water birth was lovely and relaxing for me- I had it twice.
I’m forced into a c-section this time and I do not want it at all since I’ve delivered 3 naturally and the idea of being sliced open just terrifies me 😢
But yes it’s normal to feel anxious about giving birth! Right now, I’d rather just stay pregnant 😂

I highly recommend looking into a hypnobirthing course ahead of giving birth! You can use the techniques to remain calm and relaxed no matter what type of labour you opt for in the end

A water birth would be a dream for me but they don’t have any birth pools working at the alongside MLU at my hospital.
Having had an emergency c section first time round, I would really think about if you want more children and if you ever want a vaginal birth. I’ve had a VBAC but having had a section does add a risk factor that I wish I didn’t have x

Honestly whatever you decide, keep an open mind and don’t get too fixated on having a strict plan. You don’t want to be upset if anything has to change or things don’t go exactly how you wanted. As long as you’re all healthy, that’s the goal outcome! Xx
