First period after birth…

I’m 7 weeks pp today and think I’m starting my first period…
How bad is it going to be…? I’ve heard mixed reviews of your first period after having a baby and I’m a bit nervous to say the least😂

Whelp it’s been nice not having a period for the last 10/11 months!!😂

I didn’t have any pain but mine was way heavier than usual and stayed heavy for about 5 days. It lasted longer than usual too. I’m guessing everyone is different tho x

I got mine back a few days ago and honestly completely fine, exactly how they used to be 😁

Mine came back about 12-13 weeks PP. it was maybe very slightly heavier and longer but nothing wild.

I had one around the same time as you, but then started having consisten cycles at 4 months pp, and just the same as before. Some cycles a few cramps otherwise, nothing. Bleeding is normal, and so is the length.

Thanks girls! Fingers crossed it isn’t too bad! 🤞🏼

NHS

Is anyone else finding it absolutely insane that when you are in first trimester of pregnancy you don’t get to speak or see midwife or doctors until week 10?

This is the first time ever I am pregnant and feeling some anxiety about it, all the hormonal shifts and changes, all the new sensations and nobody is effectively there to answer your questions? (Except internet and we all know that googling symptoms isn’t always great for anxiety)

I spoke to a friend in Belarus and when she found out she was pregnant she went and had an appointment straight away to confirm everything is fine and to get advice.

I booked an early scan privately to confirm pregnancy and that everything is ok in early stages but it’s not the same as a doctor doing all the checks and tests to confirm everything is okay. Can anyone recommend private clinics which wouldn’t break the bank or if anyone had any private appointments just to confirm everything as it should be?

Breathlessness at 6 weeks pregnant

Hi all!

Just looking for some advice. This past week I’ve struggled with my breathing, I have googled it and it does say it can be common to get out of breath easily. I do have a history of asthma but I haven’t struggled with it for years. It’s gradually got worse as the week has gone now, I’m struggling to sleep. Even just sat I am out of breath. I have made a doctor’s appointment today. I’ve also been getting lightheaded and dizziness.

I just wanted to see if anyone else has had anything similar?

Thanks ❤️

When do they schedule a c section for for a breech baby?

Hey so my baby has been breech for quite a few weeks now and still hasn’t turned I’m 35+2 today and having a scan at 36+4 next week to see, if baby is still breech will they schedule it in the diary then and also when do they tend to schedule it for? I had my daughter naturally at 39+5 so I’m assuming before this point?

Gbs Swab

When did y’all do the GBS swab? How far along? Not to be gross but was it inside or do they just swab the outside? TikTok is giving me mixed answers, I just want to be prepared🙃

First movements?

I’m 18+3 and still haven’t felt anything, I have an anterior placenta and it’s my first pregnancy’s which I know takes longer but it just feels like it will never come and is making me anxious seeing everyone else have swirls and flutters earlier on than me
