Lmao yeah. Pelvic floor therapy does involve physical examination i.e. a physiotherapist sticking their finger in you

On a related note, I recently had an ultrasound of my pelvis and didn't know until I got there, that they put an ultrasound wand inside your vajayjay πŸ˜…

Help

My Baby is nine months old and he doesn’t say mama or dada or bye-bye yet and my pediatrician expects him to learn that in three weeks when we go back what do I do he knows his name but won’t say mama or dada. Does anybody have any advice?

Feeds

My baby is 6 weeks and has been taking 5 ounce bottles every 3-4 hours since she was 2 weeks old but is starting to look for more. Is anyone else’s baby this age taking 5+ ounces? I’m scared to put her up incase it’s too much but she’s constantly hungry

Grunting baby

For the last 5 weeks, my baby has been generally easy to put down at night but the past 3 nights have been absolute hell. From 2/3 am he will grunt and squirm like he wants to poo and wants to be held but even then he still squirms like crazy. Anyone experiencing the same? This is my second and I co-slept with my first but even co-sleeping won't settle this baby.

2 under 2 - more fear than joy?

I’m not really sure why I’m posting this, but I think I just need to be honest.

I’m pregnant with baby #2 and, instead of feeling excited, I mostly feel scared.

My daughter will be 22 months old when the baby arrives, and I’m terrified of going back to the newborn stage. The sleepless nights, the exhaustion, the constant demands… I honestly don’t know how I’m going to cope with a newborn and a toddler at the same time.

I’ll also be alone a lot, which makes it feel even more overwhelming.

What’s making me feel guilty is that I feel so disconnected from this pregnancy. With my first, I was counting down every week and thinking about the baby all the time. This time I’m so busy surviving daily life that I barely have time to think about being pregnant. Sometimes I even forget I am.

I love this baby already, but I don’t feel the excitement I expected, and that makes me feel like a terrible mum.

Has anyone else felt this way during their second pregnancy? Did the connection come later? And how did you manage the fear of starting all over again?

I could really use some honesty and reassurance right now ❀️
