Baby only contact naps in a dark room. I'm so over it.
Why can't it be one or the other.
Nap in the dark OR contact nap.
Its not right, it's not healthy.
He's nearly 4 months and I've tried a few times to get him out if this habit but it never sticks!
I don't want this anymore. I dread EVERY nap. I love him and love being a mum during wake windows but when nap time rolls around I find myself regretting being a mum and I feel terrible for it, but I can't do this anymore hours on end in the dark every day for months on end. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

Try exposure naps in different spots. Drive around til he sleeps or bring him in the bedroom where the bassinet is and keep your hands on him until he falls asleep and then gently move away once u know he is sleeping.

I'd try contact naps out and about. Baby carrier is great for this.
At 4 months they aren't necessarily in a routine so if they miss a nap/it gets delayed it's not that big a deal.

Yes contact naps out and about put baby in sling and go for a walk. Our sling has been an absolute game changer we use it all the time and baby will sleep anywhere. X
