Sterilising

Are we still sterilising our bottles? I know they say to sterilise until they’re off formula because of the bacteria and all that but I put formula in his porridge and don’t sterilise the bowl and he’s fine? So surely I can stop? 🤞🏼
It’s becoming a real ball-ache of a chore that I dread doing after he’s gone to bed!

What is a “pop”? Is it people’s gentle way of saying a smack?

Seen this used on here a few times this week saying they “pop” their child if they’ve done something wrong. Are we just trying to sugarcoat hitting here? I don’t think calling it a pop makes it any better🥴

How can I get my baby to nap in their bassinet?

My baby will only contact nap, and every time I try to put them down in their bassinet, they wake up almost instantly. Has anyone found gentle ways to help their baby nap independently, or is it just a waiting game? Would love to hear what worked for others!

2- 2.5 year review

I’ve just spoken to the health visitor about my son’s 2 year review and she said they’ve changed it to a ‘stay and play session’. Has anyone else experience this?

She said it’s a group setting where they observe the children.

It’s maybe because my son doesn’t go to nursery.

I’m just not sure how helpful it will be and sounds a bit intimidating!
