Acting out

Is anyone else 15/16 month old acting out really bad? My daughter has been pulling hair, pinching, throwing things, throwing tantrums when told no and extra whiny. I’m currently pregnant and literally due any day so I’m just trying to figure out if she’s somehow picking up on that, if were just in a normal toddler phase, teething or just a mix of all the above 😅

Yes he bites me and acts very unhinged . Hoping it’s a phase

I am currently sitting in a restaurant and my usually perfectly chill 15 mo is losing his damn mind over something we can’t figure out….he just started screeching and tensing up yesterday. I think it’s teething and maybe a phase of some kind, I hope it passes quickly 😬😬

Well, my 15-month-old daughter acts the same way when she’s told "no"—she throws herself on the floor, or if I try to take something out of her mouth, she bites me. I have lunch with my mother-in-law tomorrow, so we’ll see how that goes... but I think it’s because they’re learning to understand feelings of anger and frustration since they can’t do everything they want.

What is a “pop”? Is it people’s gentle way of saying a smack?

Seen this used on here a few times this week saying they “pop” their child if they’ve done something wrong. Are we just trying to sugarcoat hitting here? I don’t think calling it a pop makes it any better🥴

Sterilising

Are we still sterilising our bottles? I know they say to sterilise until they’re off formula because of the bacteria and all that but I put formula in his porridge and don’t sterilise the bowl and he’s fine? So surely I can stop? 🤞🏼
It’s becoming a real ball-ache of a chore that I dread doing after he’s gone to bed!

How can I get my baby to nap in their bassinet?

My baby will only contact nap, and every time I try to put them down in their bassinet, they wake up almost instantly. Has anyone found gentle ways to help their baby nap independently, or is it just a waiting game? Would love to hear what worked for others!

Am I crazy?

We sent a list of boundaries & expectations (rules lmao) to my in-laws before the baby comes. The last one was if the baby is fussy or needs to be changed or fed, then hand them to me, De Mama. My MIL said it was “odd” that we would ask for the baby to come to me and not her son, and then she asked why me. My husband told her because I’ll be around the baby the most and it makes the most sense. I said because I’ve held that baby for 10 months and I want them. I know it’s none of her business WHY we implement rules for our home and I know I shouldn’t care because it’s MY home and MY baby but help an anxious, 32-days-left girly out. Am I nuts? Is this an unreasonable rule?

Constipated

My 5 week old is fully breastfed and growing very good... She is very alert, plenty of wet nappies but for the past 2 days hasn't had any poo. She has been farting and passing wind but I'm just getting worried as it will go to day 3. She is feeding ok and everything seems fine except that she hasn't had any poo for the past 2 days. Any advice or anyone who has been in this situation?

If your partner is moody towards you how do you react

My partner is struggling with mental health which some times causes paranoia and bad moods.
In the past I have called it out but now im rhinking I should just ignore it as its just causing more upset!
