Burping

With my son, and now my daughter, we only got a burp maybe 3/10 times until about 3weeks I want to say. My daughter is only 5 days old and has a hard time burping! What we do that usually works is you hold her jaw and rest your palm on their chest with them in a sitting position and pat their upper back then lower, and then rub their back from bottom to top with enough pressure it somewhat arches their back. This works more often than just patting for her! (And did for my son!)
