Hi Girls

When should I start putting my baby down to nap, atm i'm still contact napping every nap in the carrier because he either wakes as soon as I put him down or if he does stay asleep he only sleeps 30 mins or less, hes nearly 7 months, im actually completely fine contact napping but im feeling v bad about it as if im doing something wrong and I should be teaching him now 🤔

If your answer is keep contact napping then when long term should I stop? Hes going to Nursery at 9 months old

Mine is 9 months and just went to nursery. Contact nap as long as you want because they sleep differently there. I used to pat her to sleep in a cot and they rock her in a rocking chair and then put her to a cot. Also you probably don’t want to hear this but I wish mine would still contact nap and she won’t. She stopped around 8 months and I really miss this little baby sleeping on me. Last time she contact napped when she was sick and she just passed out on me :(

I kept contact napping, still do at almost 3yo. He started nursery at 9mo. Just adapted and found other sleep preferences there.

Keep contact napping for as long as you and baby want. He will learn to sleep by himself when he goes to nursery. I have a 16 month old that sometimes falls asleep on my chest and i keep him there as long as I can

My 19 month still contact naps. Hes only at nursery in the mornings but as soon as hes home he falls asleep on me. I have no plans to stop.

5am day starts

My 7 week old seems to wake for the day from 5am unless i put him in the sling he will then go sleep.

Will this eventually change and settle into a normal time if maybe 6/7am?

I have a 2yr old as well so praying this will change because my days are becoming sooo long. My toddler happily sleeps till 7/8am usually 😴

Am I crazy?

We sent a list of boundaries & expectations (rules lmao) to my in-laws before the baby comes. The last one was if the baby is fussy or needs to be changed or fed, then hand them to me, De Mama. My MIL said it was “odd” that we would ask for the baby to come to me and not her son, and then she asked why me. My husband told her because I’ll be around the baby the most and it makes the most sense. I said because I’ve held that baby for 10 months and I want them. I know it’s none of her business WHY we implement rules for our home and I know I shouldn’t care because it’s MY home and MY baby but help an anxious, 32-days-left girly out. Am I nuts? Is this an unreasonable rule?

Does anyone regret having more children at 40 or above

Just had 4 th baby at 40 . We have 7 kids between my partner and I. But I'd love to have a little girl. My joints are so sore this time round from being pregnant. Just don't know how my body would cope.. we would have to start soon though as the clock is ticking.. we lost a few before our little man came along.. what would you do

Washing and raining

If your clothes are out on the line and get wet from the rain. Do you rewash them? I’m not talking a little wet, say you went out and it poured down. But then you left on the line and they half dried again.

Tooth extraction

I am having a wisdom tooth extraction next week, I will be sedated and the procedure will take about an hour and a half. I have a four month old and I’m exclusively breastfeeding. In the consent form it says I shouldn’t breastfeed for eight hours and I should pump and dump.

I was wondering if any of you had a tooth extraction with sedation and are breastfeeding?

Can you tell me if you had to wait with breastfeeding? If not was the baby okay?

A lot of places say that I don’t have to wait and I can breastfeed as soon as I feel well enough. I have pumped some milk and kept it in the freezer, but I’m not sure if it’s enough and I don’t know if the baby will take the bottle.
