2 month old fussing at the boob in the evenings

My 2 month old daughter started out being purely just breast fed, but when she was 3 weeks old her weight wasn’t increasing enough so they told me to give formula as a top up. I’ve literally been strict as to 1 bottle of formula a day and the rest just breastfed but come the evenings she is so fussy at the boob and pulls off a lot then cries… I’m scared she’s getting to used to a bottle! Is anyone else in this situation? Is it because I’m not producing enough? 😭

my midwife said around 7/8 weeks they can become super fussy when feeding, waving and hitting hands around, constantly pulling off ect.. it could just be that with a mix of the witching hour, as long as she settles and is content and gaining weight i’m sure she’s getting enough!

This is happening to us! 9 weeks today and has been happening for the last 10 days I reckon. We’ve always had witching hour from 6-9pm but this fussing at the boob is new. I’m hoping it passes!

Mine has suddenly started fussing over bottles and just want to be breastfed only. Won’t accept extracted breast milk in bottle 🙆‍♂️

It might be trapped wind ? If she cries did u try to burp her and then offer again ?

My 9 week old is only breastfed and is doing the same. Reading all the comments it sounds like a phase they all go through! :)

When is too early for my ex partner to have my daughter overnight

Me and my ex broke up three weeks ago and he’s already asking to have her overnight. She is 8 months formula fed and semi co-sleeping

Since birth she has been very much dependent on me and breast fed for the first 3 months
Any advice?

Ms. Rachel / Screentime

Moms, be honest has Ms. Rachel actually helped your baby?
Did you notice new words, signs, better communication, or anything else you could directly attribute to her? Or is she just a lifesaver when you need 20 minutes to get something done? 😂
I'd love to hear real experiences and how old your little one was when they started watching. 🤍

Hi Girls

When should I start putting my baby down to nap, atm i'm still contact napping every nap in the carrier because he either wakes as soon as I put him down or if he does stay asleep he only sleeps 30 mins or less, hes nearly 7 months, im actually completely fine contact napping but im feeling v bad about it as if im doing something wrong and I should be teaching him now 🤔

If your answer is keep contact napping then when long term should I stop? Hes going to Nursery at 9 months old

Am I too late ?

Hey ladies,

I’m nervous that I may have bit myself in the behind ! I’m 12 weeks and 5 days postpartum and I am trying relactate with pumping. I had a weird journey with latching and everything and after about 3-4 weeks of trying I ultimately gave up with latching. With pumping it was just so uncomfortable and painful at the time that I didn’t consistently do it. I was pumping max about 3-4 times a day spontaneously.

As stated above, Im 12+4 weeks postpartum and I am trying to build my supply or even make enough for her to have a few bottles per day/week. Any tips and tricks to building supply? I’m trying to get more calorie intake, also changed flanges so I now have my correct size and it is as comfortable as it should be to pump. I’ve been incorporating at least 2 power pump session a day ( 1 session is 60 minutes, the next is 40). I’m also trying to consistently pump more, yesterday I tracked 7 pumping sessions (which is way more than I’ve ever done in a day). I have the Eufy S1 pros, Hygeia Fit Pro, and the Lansinoh Signature Pro pumps. Lastly, I’ve been doing a MOTN pump. I am getting less than 1-2oz per pump.

Hmm

Since giving birth me and my partner haven’t been very intimate and it’s starting to feel like a marriage of convenience at times. I’ve been complimented a lot of by other women. Don’t get me wrong I’m straight but women are beautiful and I’m starting to have second thoughts what it would be like to be intimate with another woman.
