Does anyone have any advice for collecting colostrum? I'm not having any luck, although today is my first day trying. I am starting early (33 weeks) so maybe that has something to do with it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
*I know some people have fears about jump starting labor with colostrum collection. I have been given the okay by my doctors to start at 33 weeks since I will be having a planned c section at 34 weeks.

Might just naturally take a little bit longer to come in for you! Don’t stress to much! Just keep trying throughout the day every 2-3 hours is the recommended for breastfeeding newborns and to keep supply.

I would try to express in a bath that's usually when I get a ton out :) but I think it's because I was pierced before and I've been leaking since 16 weeks. Warm compress before and just kind of rolling over your areola helps too

I’ve been trying to collect as well given that he’s measuring ahead and may come earlier that the induction but have not had any luck at all I’ve tried expressing in the shower and a little after meals and literally nothing

You wont get much at first, it takes patience and repetition

I use a medela hand pump and get a little drop at a time and suck it up with the frida mom collectors
