Beds

This is gonna sound silly, but what kind of sleep set up do you guys have for your kiddos?
Are we doing toddler beds or something else?

She has her crib that we took off the front part to make it into like a toddler bed kind of thing, but she will not sleep in that she will only sleep with me in my bed

I have a small play pen like crib that has a thicker mattress than the one it comes with in it. And a black out cover over it for sensory. But she refuses to sleep in it and prefers my bed with me and her daddy.

We just switched to a toddler bed to see if she’d sleep better and it’s been so great!

I do the same as Bailey! I also tightly roll a blanket and put it under his fitted sheet as like a bumper pad. He’s done great. I just have to make sure there is NO toys on the floor what’s so ever or else this boy will not sleep. Sometimes he runs around his room for 30mins before getting back in bed but he’s done great so far!

We just moved my son to a Montessori Floor bed, he absolutely loves it. Went from waking a few times through the night in his crib to sleeping through the night on his new bed. We also haven’t had a single fight to go to sleep since switching him. Prior it was a struggle to get him to sleep in his crib.

When is too early for my ex partner to have my daughter overnight

Me and my ex broke up three weeks ago and he’s already asking to have her overnight. She is 8 months formula fed and semi co-sleeping

Since birth she has been very much dependent on me and breast fed for the first 3 months
Any advice?

Ms. Rachel / Screentime

Moms, be honest has Ms. Rachel actually helped your baby?
Did you notice new words, signs, better communication, or anything else you could directly attribute to her? Or is she just a lifesaver when you need 20 minutes to get something done? 😂
I'd love to hear real experiences and how old your little one was when they started watching. 🤍

Hmm

Since giving birth me and my partner haven’t been very intimate and it’s starting to feel like a marriage of convenience at times. I’ve been complimented a lot of by other women. Don’t get me wrong I’m straight but women are beautiful and I’m starting to have second thoughts what it would be like to be intimate with another woman.

Am I too late ?

Hey ladies,

I’m nervous that I may have bit myself in the behind ! I’m 12 weeks and 5 days postpartum and I am trying relactate with pumping. I had a weird journey with latching and everything and after about 3-4 weeks of trying I ultimately gave up with latching. With pumping it was just so uncomfortable and painful at the time that I didn’t consistently do it. I was pumping max about 3-4 times a day spontaneously.

As stated above, Im 12+4 weeks postpartum and I am trying to build my supply or even make enough for her to have a few bottles per day/week. Any tips and tricks to building supply? I’m trying to get more calorie intake, also changed flanges so I now have my correct size and it is as comfortable as it should be to pump. I’ve been incorporating at least 2 power pump session a day ( 1 session is 60 minutes, the next is 40). I’m also trying to consistently pump more, yesterday I tracked 7 pumping sessions (which is way more than I’ve ever done in a day). I have the Eufy S1 pros, Hygeia Fit Pro, and the Lansinoh Signature Pro pumps. Lastly, I’ve been doing a MOTN pump. I am getting less than 1-2oz per pump.

Need help with sleep!

I just gave birth on 7th June to my newborn. I haven’t had much sleep since. And when I say much, I mean 0. Every time I try to nap while he’s napping, I end up worrying something will happen to him so never really fall asleep. I get scared every time he cries. Any tips on how to at least get some little sleeping. This sleep deprivation is killing my mental health.
