Sleep

Hi, im a FTM with 8weeks old LO, any tips on “sleep while the baby is sleeping”.
Just struggling with my rest period as my husband went back to work. He feeds every 3hrs now, but in between theres nappy change, bottle cleaning. And at night time i just cnt go to sleep after feeding him even though he’s nice and comfy sleeping
I am not one of those that “have a switch” to sleep when needed to sleep 😅

Husband works 12 hrs but obviously with prep time, coming back from work, meal, shower, etc like helping with chores thats like 14-16 hrs. Its not like hes gone for exact 12hrs.

And i am left with 8hrs, but his sleep and my sleep is not yet even included.
I am usually the one with 3hrs sleep and him 5 hrs sleep. Sometimes that 3hrs usually ends up 2hrs as i cnt sleep straigthaway.

I know i just stay at home this matleave, but yeaah….

Do all your jobs while baby is awake, baby wear if you have to, when that baby sleeps if you can’t sleep at least sit down and rest!

When is too early for my ex partner to have my daughter overnight

Me and my ex broke up three weeks ago and he’s already asking to have her overnight. She is 8 months formula fed and semi co-sleeping

Since birth she has been very much dependent on me and breast fed for the first 3 months
Any advice?

Ms. Rachel / Screentime

Moms, be honest has Ms. Rachel actually helped your baby?
Did you notice new words, signs, better communication, or anything else you could directly attribute to her? Or is she just a lifesaver when you need 20 minutes to get something done? 😂
I'd love to hear real experiences and how old your little one was when they started watching. 🤍

Witching hour

No point to this post but I'm certain babies can either tell the time or they're psychic...

5.15pm on the dot every night the screaming starts and it's pretty much constant until 11pm.

I can't wait for the next couple weeks to be over for it to end 😂😂

Whinging

I feel guilty for asking this but is anyone’s 4/5 month old just constantly unsettled? Don’t get me wrong, we will have periods of the day where he is happy, giggling and playing but he gets bored so quick and is so hard to settle once he starts crying. He does like a whinge all the time, not fully crying but just moaning. Feel like pulling my hair out at the minute, it’s so over stimulating xx

Baby sleep/napping

Our 5 week olds sleeping just weird. When she wakes up in the morning she will be awake for hours (7am-11isham) and then sleep for about 2 hours, feed, then go straight back to sleep for another 2 hours. Then once she’s up early evening, she literally stays awake for hours. As I’m writing this she’s been awake from about 4.15pm and it’s now 9.20pm and is wide awake. Our first slept a lot more than this and had the shorter wake windows you would expect.

Is anyone else experiencing something similar? It’s very strange
