Baby’s movement

I’m at a loss as to what to do. Baby’s movements don’t have a patten and never have I’m 33 weeks and Iv been in 5 times now for reduced movement/ non movement. Each time I have gone in baby has been fine and starting kicking away when I got there.

Movements again are reduced Iv tried all the usual stuff and it’s not worked. I just feel like I’m wasting there time as when I get there baby goes to town. How much is to much in regards with movements when will the doctors intervene and do something ?

I’m not sure about an answer to the doctors intervening but i honestly wouldn’t worry about that!! If you feel you have reduced movements always just go because you wouldn’t want anything to be wrong and not have gone!! I’m very similar my baby has never had a pattern and has days when they feel a lot less so have also gone in quite a few times!! I just think for peace of mind it’s best to get checked ❤️ even just to lower your stress levels haha

You know I thought the same thing and after I stayed up later a few times I figured out the little man is actually most active at night when I usually sleep 😂 just quiet all day and then party at night

Always go in for reduced movements. They want us to! I know you feel a bit silly but always better to be safe than sorry. My little seems to have days of huge activity and then very quiet. When she gets quiet i call triage. Yesterday was my 3rd time! If I have to go another 10 times, I will. Don't feel bad about having to do, especially when they tell us its best to get checked. You got this muma! 💪

She’s here!!

A bit of a late one but she was due 11th of June but baby Evangeline made her appearance on 30th May!
I had been contracting for days on end with no real pattern, on the 30th I went back into triage with reduced movement and tightenings and she didn’t meet criteria and wasn’t improving so they decided to deliver her via emergency c section that same day. I actually went into labour whilst waiting to go into theatre and was having contractions 2 minutes apart and they gave me the choice to try labour and deliver naturally or have a section, they told me I had a over 50% chance that I’d need a section anyway so for baby girls safety I went ahead with a section.
I had been hoping for a vbac this time round as my little boy was also an emergency section but this c section was so healing from last time. I was able to be awake to hear her first cry and hold her straight away, it was such a beautiful experience 💕
Welcome to the world Evangeline 💖

Baby boy arrived yesterday 💙

Baby boy arrived at 40 weeks & 5 days. Born yesterday at 10:32am after only arriving at the hospital 8:30am. Didn’t make it out of triage, no time for any pain relief either 😭. But he’s here and safe and worth being overdue for. His older sister is already so besotted with him 💙🩷

Blood clot

Anybody else had a blood clot in the chest area during and then after pregnancy? When I was 26 weeks our hospital suspected I had a blood clot but was later ruled out but I’m now 2 months after my c section and I’m now having the same symptoms and have just been up a and e and have been told they think I have another blood clot in a vein in my chest. I’m quite devastated as I feel like I’ve spent my maternity quite unwell so far. I just want to be healthy and able to look after my baby. I’m so scared I’m going to die. I really don’t want to. Anyone had this as well?

My whole world 💖

Baby Amelia arrived at 15:14 on 08/06/2026 weighing 7lbs 7oz.

I was in hospital since the 4th, tried 3 methods of induction, all of which failed. It turns out I can't actually birth vaginally as my pelvis is too small for babies heads so im glad I didn't try a 4th method and keep tormenting myself. Thankfully Amelia coped well with all induction attempts but still needed forceps as she was trying to move into my birth canal 🥹

I had such an overall positive experience in Derby Royal and im just so grateful to have my angel in my arms 💖

Clueless to what to name the baby

Did anyone else struggle with picking a name. Is there time after birth to choose a name or does it have to ready by the time you in the hospital?
