Blood clot

Anybody else had a blood clot in the chest area during and then after pregnancy? When I was 26 weeks our hospital suspected I had a blood clot but was later ruled out but I’m now 2 months after my c section and I’m now having the same symptoms and have just been up a and e and have been told they think I have another blood clot in a vein in my chest. I’m quite devastated as I feel like I’ve spent my maternity quite unwell so far. I just want to be healthy and able to look after my baby. I’m so scared I’m going to die. I really don’t want to. Anyone had this as well?

I got diagnosed with blood clots in my lungs when I was about 7 months but was showing symptoms from 4 months. I was so scared too and I even started to tell my bf what to do if I did die. It’s actually heartbreaking especially when you can’t do all the things to planned to during pregnancy/post partum. Are you on those injections? X

Did you get them during pregnancy? X

My family history includes lots of blood clots, including those in lungs. Whilst I've personally been lucky my sister had clots which caused a heart attack when she was 27 weeks pregnant with her first. She was put on blood thinners and that baby is now 9 years old. I hope this is reassuring to you but there is plenty that they can do even if you are pregnant and whilst I totally understand it must be scary for you, you will be okay xx

Partner and baby moving

Just wondering if anyone else’s partner is like this.
Every time I say the baby is moving and want him to look or feel he’s so distant. He says he just doesn’t understand the fascination, as it’s not in him.

He’s been amazing in terms of how he sees his job as caring for me. Which he does, but he doesn’t seem as phased as I am about baby moving. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Am I reading into this too much? I’m almost 25 weeks.

Scan week before due date?

I’m currently at the hospital having had a 36 week growth scan which they have confirmed his heads down and on the report he’s currently weighing 6lbs 9oz. The reason I have had growth scans is due to having low pap a so everything seems ok now. They’ve told me I’ll be having another scan at 39 weeks, has anyone had this before? I didn’t think I would be but I’m waiting to see the dr now and I’m going to tell them I’m wanting a c section due to my past pregnancies this will be 4th, just wondering why they’d book me in for another scan week before my due date will this still be the case if I’m wanting a c section?

Does anyone feel the same 😂

I'm currently 37 weeks pregnant, I should be happy and excited but all I want to do is sleep and be on my Own. I'm not in any discomfort I just want to be alone looool.

Please say this is normal as I feel slightly depressed 😂.

Elective C Section

For those of you having elective C sections, how far in advance did you get your dates and how? Was it a phone call/text message or just an appointment on badger notes?

Also bonus if it’s the Somerset area!
