I have all four boys and they only got there first hair cut at age 1. I’m determined for my last LO to do the same but all the comments I get from family are rude. But I’m standing my ground. With that being said when did you do the first hair cut. Picture attached for tax.

I would just ignore them 😊 I hate when people comment that boys need their hair cut because it's too long. Mind you our son didn't have the same length hair, but we didn't cut it until he was 17 months old then waited again until the recent heatwave we got here in the UK to cut it, as he was annoyed by it (20 months)

I think it’s weird for anyone else to care to be honest! What are they saying that’s rude and why do they think it’s justified or relevant to their life? I know parents of boys who did the first haircut in the first month, some who did a little trim around 4 years old, and some who haven’t cut it yet at 3 years old and don’t intend to. I don’t think it matters in the slightest unless it’s literally affecting their ability to see and then the only input should be ‘I think you should tie his hair back because it’s covering his eyes’

I waited till both my boys turned one to do their first haircut. I didn't care what anybody else had to say it was just something I did.

I shaved all my boys when they turned one. So the baby hair wouldn’t grow and the regular hair would come in. But it’s really just up to you. My brother’s son is 3 and never has cut his hair and it’s long. You do what feels right with them who cares what they says
