Anyone’s baby still not the best sleeper? Mine happily goes to sleep at night but wakes up at least twice and has been awake for the day at 5 recently

Obsessed with Husband

Is anyone else absolutely obsessed with their husband/partner postpartum? We cannot stop making out like teenagers every time we see each other/get into bed. Even when I’m feeling super anxious about baby stuff, seeing him immediately melts all the anxiety away.

Nursery vs Nappies

I need advice…

On Monday 1st June I dropped my child off at nursery for her first day, with a full pack of 72 size 5 pampers nappies and 3 packs of wipes. On Thursday 11th June they have asked for more nappies; so working full time and navigating life as a working mum I ran to the shops and Friday morning I’ve dropped off a full pack of pampers size 5+. I’m now concerned that my child’s nappies are being used on other kids as she came home today in the size 5+ and it clicked in my brain that I previously provided them with size 5 pampers and surely they haven’t used all of them yet!

For reference, she attends nursery 4 times a week (2 full days and 2 half days). On her handover sheets, it seems she’s only being changed maximum 5 times on full days and 3 times on half days. Surely they haven’t used that many on my child?

Has anyone come across this before and how did you address it?

P.S - I will no longer be providing full packs, however I’m new to this and thought it would make mine and nursery’s life easier to ensure she always had nappies. But I cannot afford to be replacing them like this 😭

What the heck’s happened??

My 5+ month old night time sleep is pretty regular, bed around 7:30pm, usually wakes after 10pm for feed (and also wakes around 3am, 5am etc) but tonight she’s refusing the bottle and refuses to be put back into her crib, is only sleeping in arms or next to me in our bed, been waiting for a whiiiiiile to make sure (seemingly so) she’s fast asleep before attempting to transfer but immediately starts to cry once in the crib, checked her nappy, room is a good temp, I’ve been checking her over as well as well my husband but nothing obvious???
Anyone had this sudden out of no where change?

Baby blues?

I am 3 weeks post partum and have a beautiful baby girl. I of course love her more than anything, but I feel terrible that I am not enjoying motherhood at all. I haven’t felt that bond with her, and don’t feel as though I am very good at being her mum.
My partner is great and finds it so much easier than me, he burps her, feeds her, changes her and soothes her a lot better than I can. When she’s in my arms she never settles and wriggles constantly, I also feel guilty that I get a dead arm when I feed her and can’t wait to put her back down in her cot.
Every day feels the same, and it feels like I’m doing very regimented chores. I don’t understand when people say things like “soak it all up” and “enjoy your baby bubble” as I just don’t have any positive feelings? I’m posting this to ask if anyone is feeling the same or if anyone has any tips/advice to make the days feel easier and to not stress out about every little detail? Do people actually enjoy these newborn “trenches” despite it being hard?

Honestly these posts make me think wtf am I doing wrong. 8 week old only contact sleeps and I am EXHAUSTED! And is up every 1.5-3 hours at night. Follow wake windows and baby cues. Formula fed. If your baby is sleeping take the win, some of us aren't that lucky. How tf am I even functioning on such little sleep????????

Am I being crazy?

Ok so I’m having my son in early sept and he is not the first grand baby on either side but the first grandson on my side . I don’t get along with my mom for a ton of reasons but she doesn’t respect boundaries at all. She all of a sudden after not wanting to meet the baby at all once he’s born has changed her mind and I quite frankly just don’t care and don’t want her around. I told her people will have access to him when I decide and she did not like that. Everything in me wants to just move far away from everyone once he’s born and just enjoy my son with my hubby but that’s not possible. I just want my kid to myself and everyone has this sense of entitlement over him already it’s driving me nuts . Am I being crazy or is it normal to feel this way ? I just don’t wanna share my baby with anyone now
