Travelling to Taiwan in August.
Any tips on keeping baby cool?
How do we keep mosquitos off?
Will we have to pack nappies and baby food? (Baby is still breastfed but will be weaning)

Not been to Taiwan. But we took our four year-old and eight month old to Sri Lanka for a month earlier this year. For keeping cool, the fans that you can attach to the pram are great we had a mumcozy one but there are a few on the market. Snoozeshade is great if napping in the push chair.
You will almost certainly find that your baby is not bothered by the mosquitoes (we were really worried about this as obviously in Sri Lanka the mosquitoes carry quite a few diseases) but our baby was not bitten at all (even in the jungle) and we were all eaten alive. Anyway, the advice from our GP was to use 30% deet on the baby (not a natural repellent as they often contain citronella which is a skin irritant). He told us to rub it on with our hands and then wash it off before bed. We had one of the Deryan travel cots, as they have an inbuilt in mosquito net. They were brilliant and our baby absolutely loved sleeping in it much more than he does a normal travel cot!

We took a few pouches of food for the flights and then we just fed our baby whatever we were eating. We found restaurants were really accommodating with making things less spicy or more baby palatable. You can buy all the breakfast stuff, like Weetabix and porridge, et cetera, for any shops out there. And you will be able to buy all big brand formula out there as well. We could find it in the tiniest of Sri Lankan villages so I’m sure they will have it in Taiwan. Enjoy it it will be fun!

Just buy nappies out there and wipes

This is so helpful thank you!
Did you get your baby vaccinated at all?
