22 month old obsessed

I was hoping to start weaning off breast milk when my son is 2 years old. Well, I guess I was more hoping he would want to wean himself. But he's currently 22 months old, and is a boy obsessed. The last month he has wanted constant feeding. Every time we are together it's "Mummy, Boobie please!" Every 5 mins!

Did anyone else go through this phase? I think I need reassurance that he will EVENTUALLY want to stop haha

Obsessed with Husband

Is anyone else absolutely obsessed with their husband/partner postpartum? We cannot stop making out like teenagers every time we see each other/get into bed. Even when I’m feeling super anxious about baby stuff, seeing him immediately melts all the anxiety away.

What the heck’s happened??

My 5+ month old night time sleep is pretty regular, bed around 7:30pm, usually wakes after 10pm for feed (and also wakes around 3am, 5am etc) but tonight she’s refusing the bottle and refuses to be put back into her crib, is only sleeping in arms or next to me in our bed, been waiting for a whiiiiiile to make sure (seemingly so) she’s fast asleep before attempting to transfer but immediately starts to cry once in the crib, checked her nappy, room is a good temp, I’ve been checking her over as well as well my husband but nothing obvious???
Anyone had this sudden out of no where change?

Honestly these posts make me think wtf am I doing wrong. 8 week old only contact sleeps and I am EXHAUSTED! And is up every 1.5-3 hours at night. Follow wake windows and baby cues. Formula fed. If your baby is sleeping take the win, some of us aren't that lucky. How tf am I even functioning on such little sleep????????

Am I being crazy?

Ok so I’m having my son in early sept and he is not the first grand baby on either side but the first grandson on my side . I don’t get along with my mom for a ton of reasons but she doesn’t respect boundaries at all. She all of a sudden after not wanting to meet the baby at all once he’s born has changed her mind and I quite frankly just don’t care and don’t want her around. I told her people will have access to him when I decide and she did not like that. Everything in me wants to just move far away from everyone once he’s born and just enjoy my son with my hubby but that’s not possible. I just want my kid to myself and everyone has this sense of entitlement over him already it’s driving me nuts . Am I being crazy or is it normal to feel this way ? I just don’t wanna share my baby with anyone now

Colostrum SOS!

I’m currently 37 weeks and I’ve tired all day and night to collect colostrum but no luck.

I honestly don’t know what I’m doing wrong… I’ve even tired to get some out by a breast pump too. It just comes out in drips and drabs.

I feel like I can’t collect it with the syringe it doesn’t gather it up as much. I can’t just dispense it in a cup either because it’s hardly anything.

Dunno why I’m finding it so difficult when I’ve seen so many other people with a collection of syringes!

Any advice would be appreciated ♥️

Quiet sleeper

My husband has just put our baby down in our next to me crib aboyt an hour ago and its my shift now with the baby. I know I should be sleeping but baby is just sleeping so quietly I keep checking on him! Every other night he grunts and makes all sorts of noises but tonight hes just sleeping so quietly

Im so terrified of sids, but hes alone, on his back in his snuzpod and in a swaddle. Ive checked and hes not too warm to touch on his chest but Im so wide awake I cant take advantage of the quiet! Hes just turned 4 weeks old yesterday

Is this normal? Everything ive seen and read is that newborns should sound like a whole farm of animals while sleeping
