My LO just turned 5 months yesterday and we have been going through it with her sleeping at night for probably about a week now. She was sleeping in a bassinet in our room but I thought maybe her fussing was because she was ready for her crib. She did well the first night in the crib but we are back again. Basically it takes us hours to get her down.
We still need to bounce her to sleep. I know we probably shouldn’t but it was working so I wasn’t ready to give it up. We can usually get her to sleep but she refuses to stay asleep once we get her down.
Any advice? I am really hesitant about formal sleep training especially the “cry it out” method. However, we may need to try some sort of structured training soon.

are you laying her down when she gets to sleep? does she have anything that helps her self soothe?
