Are you rocking/ helping your little one get to sleep during the day?
I’ve realised we’ve been using milk to help him to sleep but we’ve been feeding every 2 hours. I want to start stretching this to 3 but then I dunno whether to help him sleep or let him stay awake. I think once you start the rocking to sleep it’s hard to end it!

I think if he's showing tired cues then yes rock and cuddle him to sleep if he can't sleep without milk.
I actually think it's easy to wean them off rocking to sleep than it is feeding to sleep personally and they're still so young and need that comfort and help to fall asleep.
I give my baby chance to fall asleep by himself but rock him or just walk around the house with him until he sleeps as it will be even harder once the over tiredness kicks in. Does he take full feeds every 2 hours or does he just snack?

Breast and formula

My baby is 9 weeks old and we are now forumula feeding however, we started off combi feeding. When she was born, I was on blood pressure medication which delayed my milk coming through so I was topping her up with a bottle. She was then then jaudice and had phtotherapy. She could only be off the lights for half an hour at a time, so bottle was more efficient for her. This was a really stressful time and I spoke to the midwives about just formula feeding as my milk hadn't come and I wasn't in the headspace at the time. They encouraged me to express so then my milk came. I started to express and BF however, the expressing at home was awful and wasn't helping my mental health. I was BF but she would want more after and became really fussy at the breast, she would tug and shake it but nothing would come. I would then top her up. She eventually weaned herself off the breast and took a bottle much better. I now find myself getting really sad when I see other people successfully BF their baby. I know everyone's journey is different and formula feeding has allowed my husband ti share the load a bit and for me to get out the house, but I can't help feeling down about it all.

Baby sleep

I have posted recently about my baby who just doesn’t like to sleep and having an issue with 4am wake ups. People suggested putting to bed later however nothing is changing. I’m exhausted and don’t know what else to do. Why do I have a baby that just doesn’t sleep

Shoe size??

Am I the only one that has a hard time having shoes for my daughter. She has two pair of shoes that she wears but I wanted to find her a different pair of sandals and I can’t find any in her size. She wears a size 3 in infant shoes.

“Like seriously people I can’t help that my baby has small feet.”

Sleeping in day

My baby is 9 weeks old she sleeps great at night time ! 10 pm to around 5-6 am no wake ups which is great however in the day she just does not sleep she is wired ! She’ll be calm in the morning but once it hits about 1 pm she just cries pretty much till bed time when I took her to the drs they just said she’s healthy babies cry which I get , I thought maybe she’s sleeping to much at night time so I tried waking for feeds but she doesn’t wake ….
Sometimes she’ll go down for like 20 min nap but I can’t even get her to sleep on me which before she would any one have any tips for naps in the day ☹️🩷

Does anyone else’s husband’s hump them when they are dead asleep?

I know this is a weird question but some nights my husband will be dead to the world asleep but hump me and groan in my ear. And he’s truly asleep cause I can tell the difference, it wakes me up through the night and I’ve woken him up before thinking he was awake and he didn’t realize he was doing it, he’d kiss my forehead and genuinely apologize before going back to sleep and trying to make sure he wasn’t pressed up against me. He feels super guilty about it in the morning and apologizing, truly not realizing he was doing it. But I want to know if this is normal or a sleep disorder😭
