I am currently 12 weeks pregnant with my second baby they told me in my first scan at seven weeks. I have a haematoma the base said the stack has come away from the uterus and there’s a gap with blood and it should heal on its own by 15 weeks but it has gotten bigger since the last scan they said if it hasn’t healed by my 20 week scan, they will have to keep a close eye on it because I could potentially lose the pregnancy and I’m so scared. I never had any of these problems with my first every time I have a little bit of cramping. I get scared. I’m too scared to lift up my toddler in case it gets worse. Anyone else had this?

Currently going through this myself. Mine happened at 12 weeks and I’m now just shy of 16 weeks, still bleeding and the bleeding is still up and down. Don’t have any advice, but you are not alone. Do your best to rest, take it easy and try not to stress 🫶🏼🫶🏼 I had never heard of this or had any complications in my last pregnancy, so I’ve been stressing too.

So mine was for this pregnancy started at 8 weeks which is my third pregnancy. It hasn't gotten bigger it actually is almost entirely healed now. I'm nearly 13 weeks. Have they considered putting you on bedrest? For me they told me to go on pelvic rest for several weeks which ended up with me basically not doing anything strenuous at all for several weeks now. It is easier said than done with kids but definitely try hard to be off your feet and not lift too much. The cramping was normal for mine but it has basically totally stopped now.

I had a substantial hematoma that didn't resolve until 28 weeks with this pregnancy. I was in ER for significant bleeding and told I was going to lose baby at 16 weeks. He's still going at 32 weeks 🥹
Had a small SCH last pregnancy that was resolved by 20 weeks, and never bled with it.
Definitely avoid lifting anything heavy and take things as easy as you can. The fact that it's on the base and NOT by the placenta is really reassuring, FWIW. They are common enough that I've known many women who have had them, some lead to successful deliveries and few don't.
Feel free to message me if you would like to know more or chat, I just want to encourage you to breathe and take it a day at a time. Your baby is here now and that means so much 🙏🏼 for reference the SCH I had was 9x6x4cm at one of the worst points and my son is still here. I hope that gives you some assurance 💜
